THE BAKERY SNOWBOARDS The Bakery Snowboards started by two guys from Munich as a passion project in 2014 with the goal to join their love for craftsmanship, mountains and snowboarding.

2 THE BAKERY SNOWBOARDS The Bakery Snowboards started by two guys from Munich as a passion project in 2014 with the goal to join their love for craftsmanship, mountains and snowboarding. Through endless night shifts, hard work and quite a few beers we ve evolved into a full-fledged snowboard factory. We re driven by the desire to build progressive high-end boards that are handcrafted to highest quality standards and unique designs. We use only the best and most sustainable materials that we can find on this planet in order to push the quality and eco-friendliness of our boards as far as possible. This goal will always be the ambition behind all of our future technical developments. Every board is 100% handcrafted and the manufacturing process in Munich is still operated by ourselves. Hopefully, we can share our joy for snowboarding and craftsmanship through our products and if you ever happen to come to Munich, you are more than welcome to stop by our factory and have a beer with us. 3 NERD ROOM At the heart of every snowboard is the core. We exclusively use a tip to tail full bamboo core for our boards which results in a board with a crazy pop and liveliness. Since there are over 1,500 species of bamboo worldwide, you can imagine that it took us quite some time and intense research to figure out the best type for our cores. Ours is grown in the Zhejiang province of mainland China and our supplier works directly with small family farmers. The plant s incredible speed of growth and its exceptional carbon storage properties make it a prime product for sustainable forestry with an extremely low overall carbon footprint, even taking into account the overseas shipment. The epoxy resin is what makes your board hold together in its inmost folds. We exclusively use Entropy resin which is a USDA certified bio product and designed specifically for high performance applications. Entropy resin replaces the petroleum based components in standard epoxy resins with biomass waste. Also, the company s green chemistry techniques reduce the carbon footprint in the manufacturing process by a third, compared to a conventional epoxy production. Our topsheet and base are sourced from the global market le der based in Austria. The 8210 topsheet is their top-notch product for snowboards and presents excellent abrasion resistance and UV stability. For our base we use their 7500 sintered version which provides great wax absorption properties and outstanding durability against those nasty rocks. We also use flax fibers in some of our boards. Flax has excellent dampening properties and a strength-to- weight ratio that is 50% higher than that of conventional glass fibers. And, last but not least, flax can simply be grown on the field.

The mellow rocker rises the tip and tail just enough to avoid catching the edge, but the grip is there if you need it. We build upon the proven shape of her little sister and tweaked the profile. The mild camber in the middle blends into a rocker in the front and back. This gives pop and control when you need it while maintaining an easy, forgiving ride and float in powder. The perfect all mountain board for intermediate to expert riders. Its massive shovel and rocker in the front area give the necessary float, while its set back stance and short tail yield an agility that you wouldn t expect from such a length. The camber under the back foot provides maximal control and the board is a real beast carving down the mountain even if there is no pow! 16 PABLO - Stealth Edition It s time to kill the park with Pablo. Our top of the range park board is designed to suit the die-hard kicker and half pipe riders. The specially developed sidecut blends three different radii which matches the needs for those who want to set up for big jumps and climb the walls of the pipe without loosing speed. Combine this with a carbon/flax fiber enhanced tip to tail camber and you have a board that just wants to go fast. The cutoff nose and tail yield a long effective edge with a minimized overall length. We therefore recommend you choose Pablo 3 to 6 cm shorter than your usual park board. 17 REINHOLD - Views Edition This directional twin board is symmetric between the contact points and has little bit bigger nose than tail. This adds to float and agility in powder while preserving its freestyle qualities.
