Bali Airport Transfers The breaks: KONGS located at the top end of the point breaking in deeper water, is a mellower lefthander offering long walls, the occasional barrel & rides for up to several hundred meters in length. It picks up some of the most swell along the whole Indonesian archipelago, rarely getting under 3ft and can be a savior when the rest of Indonesia is flat. THE LEDGE as the name states is a shallow section of reef that causes the wave to double up and ledge out. A short thick hollow lefthander that can make or break you. Best between 4 8ft but can hold up to 10ft. MONEY TREES sometimes linking up from The Ledge is a long, barreling world- class wave that can hold anywhere from 2 12ft plus. Best between 4 8ft it breaks for over several hundred meters with the barrels become a little more critical the lower the tide. LAUNCHING PADS is an outside takeoff section located between the two sections of Money Trees & Speed Reef. The largest wave of all the waves at G- Land, holding 15ft plus. On the right day Launching Pads can link up with Speed Reef shooting a surfer into the barrel of their life. SPEED REEF also know as Speedies (named after how fast the wave breaks), is the most perfect wave at G- Land. A very hollow barrel going for several hundred meters and rideable from 2-8ft plus. Very dangerous on lower tides. CHICKENS located just north of the boat channel, is a great alternative lefthander that works best when the rest of the point gets big. If the above waves are hitting the 8ft+ range chickens will be half the size at around 4-5ft. 20/ 20 S great for novice/ intermediate or young surfers, it is the smallest mellowest wave of all the waves at G- Land. A left & right that breaks over a flat reef towards each other into a deep reef pass making it easy to negotiate and avoid getting into any trouble. Rarely gets over 3-4 ft. TIGER TRACKS located on a beautiful beach further up in the bay and regarded as the most fun wave in G- Land, if not the world. It s a mechanical right & left peak that s great for all levels of surfing and enhancing surf skills. A great alternative when the main point is too big or you just feel like surfing right for a change. Best on higher tides between 3 6ft.
