3 Vis Island Fascinating, Divine, Pearl of the Adriatic, Island paradise - these are just some of the epithets used to describe the island of Vis by people who come here from all over the world. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has included Vis in the last ten remaining paradises of the Mediterranean. "Living in harmony with nature" is our motto and we find that the only way to live on this island is to live according to nature s rules. Therefore, our philosophy is based on the principles sustainability, leading a holistic lifestyle in harmony with the natural environment of the island.

4 Neda Kocare Resident of Vis Island, Croatia and Macedonian American yoga teacher Neda Kocare started her love affair with yoga at the age of fifteen in San Diego, California. She has been practicing yoga ever since. In 2010 she discovered the Ashtanga yoga method and started practicing it religiously at her home. After a long time of practice, she finally gathered the courage to pursue her dreams and get her certificate as a yoga teacher. Since then, she has been splitting her time teaching yoga on the Island of Vis, Croatia, and her hometown of Skopje, Macedonia. She loves teaching and connecting with people and is eager to pursue her passion in the future. Neda is an inspiring, true person who is transmitting the flower power revolution. Neda is an experienced registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 200), and holds yoga retreats, teacher trainings, as well as teaching regular Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Pre-natal, and SUP Yoga ( stand up paddleboard yoga) classes. Neda teaches with a fun-loving, childlike, open-heart quality, encouraging her students, through example, to become the best version of themselves by letting go of their fears and becoming in-tune with the curious child within.

5 Estate under the Paintbrush We are a family run business and we live on the island all year round. We are happy to share both our lifestyle and our life stories to all of our guests. Estate under the Paintbrush is located in a small village Rukavac, only 8km away from the city of Vis and 20km away from the city of Komiza. The Estate under the Paintbrush is 800 m away from the sea, surrounded by lush vegetation, a magic oasis filled with harmony, beauty and creativity. With its cozy and artistically created space, you can find two houses - Camellia and Jana and the wonderful Mediterranean garden situated on 1700m². Accommodation is in comfortable, fully equipped apartments at "Estate under the Paintbrush" or the surrounding houses in double and single rooms as well as studio apartments. All rooms are air conditioned. Kitchens fully equipped with appliances and utensils. Satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet.

6 Yoga styles Morning Class - Ashtanga Yoga/Vinyasa Flow Morning class will either be a Led Primary Series Ashtanga class or a Free Ashtanga- inspired Vinyasa flow. We will have our morning class in the brand new yoga shala constructed on Vis Island. The 140m2 open space shala is perfect for morning yoga. Evening class - SUP Yoga/ Yoga on the Beach Evening classes will be either SUP yoga or yoga on the beach. Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga is a fun way to test your balance and focus while having fun practicing with the elements on your mobile yoga mat (your SUP board). When we are not on our SUP boards, we will practice gentle yoga on Bili Bok. Bili Bok is a sunset-facing beach in Rukavac made of flat rocks that resemble an amphitheater.

8 Extra activities Trip to the city of Vis We will have a two hour tour of the city of Vis, walking around the Riviera, enjoying the old Roman architecture, and the laidback atmosphere of this island. Trip to the city of Komiza (with a surprise stop) + Dinner in a Konoba ( typical Croatian restaurant) We will make a visit to this ancient pirate town on our afternoon day off. This sunset-facing town has a laid-back atmosphere with pristine beaches, which we will definitely not miss. On our way there we will visit one special place a surprise where you can have a unique view point of the island, a spot which only a few tourists are lucky to see. We will end the evening having dinner in Komiza. Boat trip to Green Cave, Budikovac, and Stiniva A visit to Vis without a boat trip to these three stops is almost unheard of! Thus, we will all go together to visit the Green Cave, the isand of Budikovac and the special bay of Stiniva. It s a special thing to take the boat on the island of Vis. If we manage to catch Bonatsa what the locals call a pristine calm see you will realize all at once how easy it is to stay present in the moment!

10 Menu The menu will be based on organic and local Mediterranean ingredients. We will serve buffet style breakfast, lunch on-the-go, and long lazy 4 course dinners. The menu will be vegetarian with the aim of purifying our bodies as well as our minds during our island getaway. During our Komiza dinner, you will have the option between a vegetarian and a seafood dish. 11 Practical information To come to Vis, you have to take the ferry or the catamaran, which undock from Split. The ferry takes 2hours and 15 minutes, and the catamaran takes an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive to Vis.
