Our trip to Kelly s Island was great, and everyone came back in great shape, no wheelchairs, crutches, and first aid kits are still full but there is a large number of bad knees going around the club. Don t forget the club is cruising to Put-In-Bay this month and we need to see new faces to join in the fun. Our clubs committees have been putting in a lot of time on our By- Laws and Wheelhouse function, all for the greater good. Vice Commodore Kenneth Klein Well folks, we asked for warmer weather and we sure got it. In the last month or so the temperature has been well up in the 80 s and many times in the 90 s. Add to that the humidity and it can get a bit uncomfortable. Oh, by the way, did I mention that the Air Conditioning in the Wheelhouse is running well? That is my way of saying; Come on down and join us for dinner and a cocktail. Bring the family they need to enjoy themselves too. The food and the company is great. This year in the Wheelhouse we have had Terry s Manager Specials. Every week they add something different to the menu and are being enjoyed by all. It has been a very busy month for many of us. The by-laws committee has been meeting weekly and is working diligently to review and update the book from cover to cover. This is a very tedious and time consuming task and I would like to thank everyone on the committee for their continuing efforts. I hope everyone can find the time to get out on the water, stop in the Wheelhouse and join in the many scheduled activities. I hope to see you all soon. Make every day safe and enjoyable. We have Jimmy Buffet Night on the Deck August 7th and our 1st Annual Hog Feast on August 28th. I am really looking forward to the upcoming events. We need help with both events. Club participation helps make our events successful. Last year s winning team of two will not both be in attendance to compete together this year. So, the title is up for grabs without a chance of a two time winning streak. Teams will be able to ride on a golf cart this year, of course under conditions that follow the rules! You know who you are, you rule breakers from last year.
