2 ! BIG GAME FISHING Embark on a half day or full day fishing expedition. Your day begins with breakfast as we cruise towards deep water. Avid sportsmen then have the chance to fish for tuna, mahi-mahi, jackfish, Wahoo and sailfish. Chilled refreshments and snacks are included. If you do manage to land the big one our chefs would be happy to prepare your fresh catch to your liking at dinner the same night! PRIVATE FISHING Request a boat, set a time and we will set off to catch some of the Indian Ocean s finest fish. The recreation team can be equipped to bottom line fish or to search for something a little bigger. If you are lucky enough to catch one our chefs at our restaurant will be delighted to prepare it to your liking for a leisurely lunch or dinner the next day with a fee of US$15 per person. Four Seasons promotes conservation and the sustainable use of ocean resources. This is why our resident marine biologists have teamed up with the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration of North America (NOAA) to conduct a tag and release program for billfish caught in the local area.!2

3 ! SANDBANK PICNIC A boat trip to an unspoiled and uninhabited Sandbank where you will enjoy a day doing whatever the heart desires. Snorkelling, fishing, or trying to find some dolphin and lounging are just a few suggestions for time on this white Sand Beach surrounded by turquoise water. Of course, a delicious prepared picnic or BBQ will top off this great day of discovering the hidden side of the Maldives. This excursion costs are based on the selected boat and hours required. A small sliver of sand lost in an azure sea makes a perfect setting for a picnic or a family day out. A speedboat will be on hand should you wish to add snorkelling or fishing to the day s schedule.!3

4 DOLPHIN TALK & CRUISE SUNSET FISHING Did you know that there are hundreds of dolphins in the waters near Kuda Huraa? Join our Marine Biologist for a short briefing on this charismatic marine animal, then hop on board a boat and cruise around local islands to watch pods of dolphins play in the waves as you enjoy some light refreshments. On this excursion catch fish the traditional way, by hook, hand line and sinker. This relaxed outing often results in a large catch! Lucky fishermen may ask the chefs of our restaurant to prepare a fish to their liking for a leisurely lunch or dinner the next day with a fee of US$15 per person. 5 SNORKELLING EXCURSIONS AT CORAL GARDENS TURTLE TALK & MARINE LIFE SAFARI Join us for a short talk on the underwater world you will soon visit, then hop on board a Dhoni to a vibrant coral reef and explore the aquatic environment with our Resident Marine Biologist. On the way back enjoy refreshments on board. The Maldives is home to a variety of turtle species, most commonly the Hawksbill and the Green Turtle. Join our resident Marine Biologist for an educational briefing about the lives and habits of these beautiful creatures and then start your journey into the deep in search of great Sea Turtle. On the way back enjoy refreshments on board. Join us on an exciting snorkelling adventure as we search these turquoise waters for one of the Maldives oldest and most popular inhabitants, the shark. If you are interested in learning more about Sharks our Resident Marine Biologist will be available for an educational discussion in the evening. 7 VISIT MALE OUR CAPITAL Discover the capital of the Maldives, Malé. On this small island, measuring just 1.7 kilometers by 1.0 kilometer, 100,000 inhabitants live and work. Visit the Friday Mosque with its towering minaret dominating the skyline. The National Museum showcases some of the Sultan's riches, as well as archaeological finds. There is a colorful market and many tea houses serving Indian teas and sweet cakes. When visiting local islands and Male, please be respectful of the local culture and wear conservative clothing. Ensure your shoulders are covered and shorts are to the knee.!7

8 LOCAL ISLAND TOUR Visit our neighbouring island of Bodu Huraa (means: Big Island, and ours is Kuda Huraa or Small Island) to experience local life style and way of living in a fishing village. you will be able to buy some souvenirs and take few photos while you are touring the island so do not forget to take some cash and a camera with you. When visiting local islands and Male, please be respectful of the local culture and wear conservative clothing. Ensure your shoulders are covered and shorts are to the knee.!8

You will receive one-on-one instruction that will have you on our feet in no time. Daily Catamaran Sailing Sail across the azure waters in front of our island in one of our Topcat catamarans.
