We accept all major credit cards and checks. If you would like a payment receipt, please provide your address on the reservation form. TICKET PICK-UP: You will pick up your tour tickets at the Symposia Medicus conference check-in desk on Wednesday, March 9 beginning at 7:00am CANCELLATIONS: Tour cancellations must be made prior to Wednesday, February 17, After this date, tours are no longer refundable. If a group tour is cancelled by the tour company, full refunds will be made. NOTE: Tour space often sells out prior to the conference and/or deadline stated above. 2 Group Tour Descriptions St. Maarten Island Tour Thursday, March 10 ~ 1:30pm-5:00pm Your afternoon excursion begins with pick up at the hotel in an airconditioned bus. The guide will take you on a narrated, scenic, and historic tour to the points of interest on both sides of the island (Dutch and French sides). You ll stop in either Marigot or Philipsburg for duty-free shopping. $43 per person Children 2 years and under are free if held on lap during transportation. guided tour, bottle of water, taxes, fees, and gratuities. Meet in Hotel Lobby by 1:20pm Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Bring money for shopping and your camera. Sunset Catamaran Cruise Thursday, March 10 ~ 5:00pm-7:00pm (Return time may change slightly based on sunset) You will take a 15-minute ride to Philipsburg, where you will board a 59 ft. catamaran. Enjoy St. Maarten s breathtakingly beautiful sunset while sailing along the southern coastline. Relax as you listen to the sweet sounds of the Caribbean while enjoying light snacks (Gouda cheese with crackers, grapes, chips & salsa, raw veggies & dip, tuna salad, and sliced sandwiches), and an open bar. $100 per person 1 ½ hour catamaran sail, light snacks (as listed), open bar, taxes, fees, and gratuities. 3 Women s Health () Half Day Catamaran Snorkel Sail Friday, March 11 ~ 8:30am-1:30pm You will take a 15-minute ride to Philipsburg, where you will board a catamaran for a four-hour sail and snorkel along the scenic southern coast of St. Maarten. You will stop to snorkel and swim, and also have a little beach time. This trip is perfect for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. You will enjoy a light lunch (Frenchstyle sandwiches) and open bar. $130 per person sail, snorkel equipment and instruction (approx. two hours of snorkeling), light lunch, open bar, taxes, fees, and gratuities. Meet in Hotel Lobby by 8:20am Wear a bathing suit under your beach cover, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Don t forget a towel and camera! Lagoon Kayaking & Snorkeling Trip Friday, March 11 ~ 8:00am-12:30pm You will take a minute ride to Kim Sha Beach in Simpson Bay, next to the Buccaneer Beach Bar, where you will watch a 15-minute paddling demonstration and get your equipment together. You will then follow the guides across the bay toward Simpson Bay, offering you a unique view of this small, quaint fishing village. You will continue to paddle gently across the bay to the Pelican Keys coast, where you will pull your kayaks onto the white sandy beach at the Pelican Resort. After trying out your snorkeling equipment, you will swim out to the thriving reef at Pelican Rock, where the guides will point out some of the fascinating and colorful creatures that inhabit the coral and rocky caverns. After approximately 35 minutes of underwater exploration, you will head back to your kayaks for the return paddle to Kim Sha Beach, followed by an ice cold refreshment at the Greenhouse Restaurant, and a discussion on the fish that you discovered during your swim. $95 per person 2 ½ hour kayak tour, 35 minutes of snorkeling at Pelican Rock, equipment and instruction for both, taxes, and fees.
