On the eighth day head to the stylish beach side city of Santa Monica for your L.A base to dine in the finest restaurants, before whiling the night away in the buzzing bars of Venice Beach. The halfway point of this trip involves the short flight to Hawaii where you spend the next five days relaxing in paradise. DAYS 1-2 San Francisco - 2 nights at Prescott Hotel Drive through the city with the roof down getting that all important picture atop the Golden Gate Bridge. Board the ferry to Alcatraz Island and take a tour of one of the most renowned prisons in the world. DAYS 3-4 Napa Valley - 2 nights at Milliken Creek Indulge in some of the most delectable restaurants in downtown Napa. Enjoy the vineyards and taste some of the finest local wines to ensure a bit more enjoyment, a driver is available for the day! 3 Carmel Valley - 2 nights at Carmel Valley Ranch The drive to Carmel is a beautiful one, flanking the astonishing coast line. Carmel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and the village boasts some delightful boutique shops and cafes. The 17 mile drive round the Pebble Beach golf course is exceptional before dinner at the exquisite Post Ranch Inn.
