The padding on the chest is separate from the back padding with a 1 gap under the arms. The advantage of split flotation is MORE FLEXIBILITY.

14 front zip or pull-over FreeFlex Heater The Freeflex Heater shirt represents Eagle s evolution from the standard heater shirt. This popular shirt is now available in either Front Zip or Pull-over. These shirts are made with the highest quality 1mm Ultra-Span high-flex neoprene. We have made a few enhancements to the 2011 shirt. We ve added smooth rubber seals on the neck collar and at the wrists. The wrists are now designed to allow your slalom gloves to fit over top instead of having to push the sleeve up your arm. The front zipper is a concealed zipper. Once the zipper is up, you can t see or feel it. We ve designed these shirts to be worn under our competition ski vests and/or barefoot suits.
