5 MeyGen Inner Sound Phase 1A Starting in 2015, by the early 2020s MeyGen Limited intends to deploy up to 398MW of tidal stream power off the North coast of Scotland. The World s First Tidal Arrays Shetland Tidal Array Nova Innovation has begun to deploy five 100kW Nova tidal devices as part of the Shetland Tidal Array in the Bluemull Sound. This will be one of the world's first in-sea tidal arrays.

SDI mission with up to 25 companies Singapore October 25-28th - Asian Wave and Tidal Energy Conference 2016 (AWTEC) will be a SDI learning journey to explore wave and tidal opportunities. Belgium November 8-9th - Ocean Energy Europe 2016 in Brussels is the main European event for wave and tidal energy. SDI will be hosting the Scottish Pavilion at the event.
