2 Day 1 - Cairns to Cape Tribulation After motoring out of Cairns and up into the hinterland, we re off for an Aboriginal Bush Tucker walk. This afternoon it s time to get wet and steamy in the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park. After a busy day of travelling, it s time for a filling feast and maybe a coldie at the local bar (which is almost right on the beach!). -Visit the Daintree Rainforest -Bush Tucker Walk -Dinner -Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas Day 2 - Cape Tribulation Cape Trib is all yours for exploring today. Got a head for heights? There s the optional Jungle Surfing zipline. Want to be beach-based? You can choose to go horse riding or snorkeling. There s also a crocodile cruise for nature lovers and thrill seekers (eek!). Round out your day on a deserted beach with a glass of bubbles in your hand and your new mates by your side. -Fly through the rainforest on the Jungle Surfing zipline -Horse riding on the beach -Explore the reef with Ocean Safari snorkelling -Cruise for crocodiles along the Daintree River Day 3 - Cape Tribulation to Atherton Tablelands Hungry for more rainforest action? You re in luck, we re off to Mossman Gorge. Besides the many waterfalls, there are some 30,000 plant and animal species to spot here. See where your lattes start life at a coffee plantation before moving on to try some tropical fruit wines or local spirits. Yungaburra is home for the night. 3 Day 4 - Atherton Tablelands to Mission Beach Today cool off with a swim in a volcanic crater lake. At lunch, take in the beauty that is Millaa Millaa Falls, then it s back towards the coast, via a few swimming spots. Tonight we stay in the heart of Mission Beach. -Visit Lake Eacham -Visit Millaa Millaa waterfalls Day 5 - Mission Beach to Cairns Start off with a beachside breakfast before exploring this oh-so-pretty part of the world. Optionals today: raft your way down Tully River or take a boat trip for a snorkelling session at Dunk Island. For the adrenalin junkies, you could choose to pop on a parachute and see the scenery from 14,000 ft up in the air. Yep, we re talking about a skydive over this beautiful location. On the way back to Cairns we ll take the Cassowary Coast trail with stops at Innisfail and another spot of swimming at Boulders. Say your goodbyes to your travel mates tonight, and get planning that next adventure. Meals included: -Entry to the National Park -Visit the waterfalls -Skydiving over Mission Beach -Whitewater rafting down Tully River -Snorkel at Dunk Island Accommodation You will use a variety of multi-share accommodation, which may include hotels, hostels, motels, cabins, an overnight boat and even a traditional Maori marae! The number of people in a room varies depending on the type of accommodation. To keep costs down accommodation is based on a four-share, same sex basis. The 'More Inclusions' section of this document details what type of accommodation is used for our overnight stops. If you are travelling with a friend and require twin or double accommodation, this is available at a small extra charge and can be requested at the time of booking. Optional Activities On all trips we have arranged extra activities that we think will enhance your travel experience, but you have a choice as to whether or not

4 you will participate. These are not included in the cost of your trip. They are usually organised on a group participation basis and should be taken into consideration when budgeting your spending money. None of the Optional Activities on your trip are operated by Topdeck, nor do they form part of your contract with Topdeck for your trip. Breakfasts are included each day (except on the first morning). A typical breakfast consists of cereals with milk or yoghurt, bread, a range of spreads, and fruit juice, tea or coffee. It is rare to get a hot breakfast, though on some occasions it may be available. Included evening meals will be combination of those prepared by the Topdeck Road Crew, local restaurants and places in which we stay. If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise your travel agent or Topdeck Trip Consultant when you book. But please be aware that although we will do everything in our power to arrange it, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we use will be able to cater to all dietary needs. We also cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu. No Tip Necessary

However, amidst the fun and excitement, it s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it s important to be aware of the following: When you re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow Topdeckers if you become separated. In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended. It s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself and have fun, but don t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
