5 Adult Courses & Workshops (Ages 18+) ADULT CLASSES Our 1 to 4 day workshops give you a taste of the arts, while 10 week courses provide an in-depth experience in hands-on creativity. Both take place in our professionally equipped studios. Please note: There will be NO classes on Oct 11, 12, 13; Feb 16; Mar Unless otherwise indicated, Adult Courses are 10 weeks in length and include all materials and applicable taxes. CLASS SIZES Register early! CERAMICS NEW! POTTERY WORKSHOP Want to learn about the properties of clay, techniques in hand building or give the potters wheel a try but are not sure if pottery is for you? Then this workshop is for you! This two day course is geared towards beginners and will teach the basics of making vessels out of clay and slip glazing. This course includes one bag of clay. Classes: 2 weeks 16+ Sun 19 Oct-26 Oct 10-2 pm $160 V1OPOW 16+ Sun 15 Feb-22 Feb 10-2 pm $160 V2FPOW POTTERY Learn about the properties of clay and the techniques used in handbuilding and wheel throwing as you produce a number of pieces. A variety of slip decoration and glazing techniques will be taught. SCULPTURE Using wood, clay and glass, create original sculptures in ceramic, wood and glass.
