A native of Lewistown, PA, Chuck served four years in the United States Navy and upon his discharge in 1970, earned his degree in Radio- Television Broadcasting from Penn State University. Chuck brought a unique blend of warmth and humor to his forecasts, leading to his being voted the "top television personality" and "favorite weather forecaster" by the readers of Harrisburg Magazine several years in a row. Away from his broadcasting duties, Chuck enjoys jazz, yard work, and hiking with his golden retriever. Our city tour takes us past Chinatown, the State Capitol and the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States that was inhabited by a king. We ll also see the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, located in an extinct volcano known as the Punchbowl. D Day 4: Waimea Canyon This morning we fly to the "Garden Isle" of Kauai, the most lush of the four major Hawaiian Islands. Upon our arrival we have lunch at the Kilohana Plantation, built during the prime of the island's sugar industry. 7 Guaranteed Prices Holiday Vacations published tour prices are based on the rates known at the time of publication and are expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Once we have received your deposit, your price is guaranteed, and any subsequent price increase is at our expense. Reservations Please make reservations well in advance. Space requested by phone will be held for five business days, pending receipt of the required deposit by mail or in person. Reservations made after the indicated final payment due date must be paid in full at the time of reservation. A Deposit Of $200 Per Person must accompany all reservation requests. Personal check, money order, Discover, MasterCard or VISA are acceptable forms of payment. Deposit is fully refundable until the final payment due date. Final Payment A balance due date and amount will be indicated on your tour invoice deposit receipt. We welcome credit cards but prefer final payments to be made by check or money order. Special Requests Individual requests must be made when booking your tour. Requests for advance seat assignment on flights, special dietary needs, dining room reservations aboard cruise ships, and non-smoking, adjoining, handicap accessible or other room types are subject to confirmation and cannot be guaranteed. General Information Airline Seating Airlines utilized by Holiday Vacations control seat assignments. Reservation Changes Individual requests for changes in planned itinerary, flight schedules, early or extended hotel stays or for any other component of the tour must be made prior to the final payment date. A non-refundable processing fee of $35 per person will apply for any change requested prior to the final payment date and $100 per person for any change requested on or after the final payment date. These fees are in addition to any costs or penalties imposed by suppliers. Insurance Holiday Vacations recognizes the value and importance of travel insurance for our customers. We offer an optional Travel Protection Plan, which includes accident and sickness coverage, baggage protection, trip interruption and cancellation insurance. An insurance brochure will be sent with your tour invoice deposit receipt or may be requested in advance. For your convenience, the insurance premium is included in the balance due on your tour invoice. Processing fees for a voluntary change in airport departure or for other requested changes are not covered by this insurance. Insurance must be paid for on or before your final payment due date. Single Travelers Holiday Vacations welcomes single travelers. We will try to assist in arranging a roommate for any person wishing to share accommodations at the double occupancy tour rate. Should a shared arrangement not be available, the single price will apply. Triple & Quad These accommodations are usually in rooms with two double beds. A rollaway bed or cot is subject to availability on a request basis. Reservation Name/Identification The requirement to collect your date of birth, gender and full name as it appears on the government issued photo identification you will use on your tour is federally mandated by the Transportation Security Administration. TSA s privacy policy as well as additional details, can be found at using the keywords Secure Flight. Proof of Citizenship Travel into Canada and all international destinations requires a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for six months beyond your return date.

8 Luggage The cost of checking luggage with the airlines is the responsibility of each guest. This cost, if any, will be charged by the airlines when checking luggage for your flight and is payable directly to the airlines. An excess fee or handling charge may be collected by the airlines for each piece over the designated allowance and for oversize or overweight baggage. On tour, each person is allowed ONE SUITCASE which will be handled for you at hotels. In addition, a small bag may be carried aboard. Carry-on articles are the responsibility of each person. Carry-ons that do not fit in the overhead compartments may be charged as an additional piece of luggage. Additional pieces of luggage will be handled for you at hotels at a cost of $4 per bag, per day or at the cost specified for some tours. Though every effort will be made to safeguard your baggage, Holiday Vacations accepts no liability for loss or damage. Additional information regarding luggage sizes and weight restrictions will be included in your tour information packet which is sent with your final payment reminder. Tour Documents Your tour packet will be mailed approximately ten days before your tour departure date. This material includes tour pickup location and time, a tour itinerary, hotel list and luggage tag. Gratuities Tips for all the included features of your tour (baggage handling, included meals, etc.) will be taken care of by your Tour Director. Suggested gratuities for cruise ship or train personnel will be provided with your tour documents. Tips for meals on your own or for other services are at the discretion of each tour participant. Customary tips for the Tour Director and Driver are on a voluntary basis and given individually at the end of the tour. Cruise LIne Service Charge Additional fees applied by the cruise lines are not included in your tour price. These fees include but are not limited to: daily service charge for cabin & wait staff, specialty restaurant cover charges and shore excursions.
