1 Detailed Itinerary Day 01 Arrive Colombo - Onto Welcome to Sri Lanka! On arrival in Colombo, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel in. With many sites and scenes bottled up in to a small island, a traveller could be riding the waves in the dawn and admiring the green carpeted mountains by dusk. Travel destinations in Sri Lanka provides an array of holiday experiences from sun kissed beach holidays to a marathon of wildlife watching, adrenaline pumping adventure sports and pilgrimage to some of the oldest cities in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and unwind. Time 08:30 3:30 Enjoy a boat ride along the Madhu River. Pass by many islets forested with mangroves and experience the natural rhythms on this scenic tour. For a more exclusive experience, we visit the turtle hatchery. Visitors can see huge tanks filled with new born turtle hatchlings. After being fed, the baby turtles are taken to the sea and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness. Note: Entrance fees are not included. 2 Detailed Itinerary Day 03 - Colombo Today, you will be transferred to Colombo; a sprawling metropolis whose contrasting districts offer an absorbing introduction to Sri Lanka's myriad cultures and multi-layered history. Activities - Included in Your Trip Enjoy a city tour of Colombo (Seat in coach). Time Colombo 11:00 3:00 Later, enjoy a city tour of Colombo. Visit the Old Parliament, Independence Square, Town Hall, Viharamaga Devi Park, BMICH, National Museum etc. Galle Face Green is a magnificent place to witness a marvellous sun set over Sri Lanka. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles.
