2 MONDAY 18 DECEMBER CHRISTMAS BAKING & STOCKING MAKING Today we will be making Christmas stockings and getting ready for Santa, baking some Christmas goodies in the afternoon. TUESDAY 19 DECEMBER NEW RELEASE MOVIE AT THE BRIDGEWAY CINEMA Take a stroll down to our local cinema and check out one of their latest movies. WEDNESDAY 20 DECEMBER SUPER SAND SCULPTURES WITH BBQ LUNCH Build up an appetite for your BBQ lunch while creating a super sand sculpture! THURSDAY 21 DECEMBER CHRISTMAS DECORATION MAKING & WATER FIGHT Today we will be making and baking Christmas decorations for home! Then cooling off with a water fight! Remember your togs/change of clothes and a towel. FRIDAY 22 DECEMBER GINGERBREAD GOODIES We are making lots of gingerbread goodies for you to share (or not!). Then chill out with a classic Christmas movie in the afternoon! MONDAY 8 JANUARY SUPERHERO CAPES & MASKS Up, Up, and away! Invent your own superhero and costume!
3 TUESDAY 9 JANUARY ARCHERY PART ONE (10 13 YEARS ONLY $15) Take aim, fire! A great opportunity to try a new sport from the experts at The Birkenhead Leisure Centre. FRUIT KEBABS & LEMONADE MAKING FOR A PICNIC IN THE PARK! WEDNESDAY 10 JANUARY BUBBLE SOCCER ($15) It is a hilarious combination of traditional soccer and big Bubble suits. This transforms you into a human airbag. While your upper body is safely enclosed in a huge inflatable Bubble, bouncing, rolling and bumping into each other. Come and enjoy the fun!! Suitable for all ages! THURSDAY 11 JANUARY BUSH WALK ($10) Bring your walking shoes and join a ranger from the Kaipatiki Project who will guide us through the beautiful scenery in our very own backyard. We will explore some of the wildlife and creepy crawlies and then use some of your new skills to make something to take home. FRIDAY 12 JANUARY BEACH DAY & BBQ Today we head down to the beach for fun in the sun and a BBQ lunch! MONDAY 15 JANUARY SURVIVOR NORTHCOTE Test your survival skills and teamwork using only basic materials and natural resources to build a hut for everyone to enjoy for days to come!
4 TUESDAY 16 JANUARY ARCHERY PART TWO (10 13 YEARS ONLY $15) Take aim, fire! A great opportunity try something new or to build on your skills from session one with the experts at the Birkenhead Leisure Centre. ICKY STICKY! SLIME AND ICECREAM MAKING, SOMETHING FOR ALL OF THE SENSES WEDNESDAY 17 JANUARY NERF WARS WITH PARTY AT YOURS (8 13 YEARS $15) This explosive, action-packed experience is perfect for keeping the kids active and entertained, encouraging teamwork, strategic thinking and plenty of high energy fun!! 5 TUESDAY 23 JANUARY MOVIES Kick back with a movie at our local cinema and make yourself comfortable with popcorn or ice-cream. Being local, it s just a hop, skip and a jump away! WEDNESDAY 24 JANUARY CRAFT DAY From paper making, to wire craft, to clay sculpting. Today you can get creative and who knows where it will end! THURSDAY 25 JANUARY WHEELS DAY Zoom, zoom, zoom! Race around the tracks at Onepoto Domain on your bikes, scooters and skateboards and stop for a play on the playground! Transport for children and wheels to Onepoto Domain provided $5 charge for transport FRIDAY 26 JANUARY WATERDAY What better way to spend the last day of the holidays than slipping, sliding, splishing and splashing with water fights, slides and balloons!
