SCHEDULE: Saturday: Sunday: Warm-ups begin at 9:30 am Warm-ups begin at 8:00 Officials meeting at 10:00 am Officials meeting at 8:45 am Coaches meeting at 10:30 am Coaches meeting at 9:00 am Meet starts at 10:45 am Meet starts at 9:15 am Coaches and Officials meetings will be help in the computer operations area of the pool. FACILITY: POOL: Lander Swim Pool 450 South 9 th Street Lander, WY Indoor 25-yard, 6 lane pool with non-turbulent lane markers and backstroke flags. Colorado Timing System including automatic timer with horn start, touch pads and electronic scoreboard display for all 6 lanes. Two back-up timers per lane. Water depth measured at the start end is 5 1 deep at both 1 and 5 meters from the wall. Water depth measured at the turn end is 3 8 and 4 3 at 1 meter and 5 meters from the wall respectively. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with C4).

2 RULES: STARTS: Current (2014) USA Swimming and Wyoming Swimming rules will govern the meet. All coaches, officials, and meet officials must have their USA swim cards on their person and in plain view while on deck. We will be using fly over starts. ELIGIBILITY: All contestants MUST be currently registered with USA Swimming and Wyoming Swimming, INC. There will be no on deck registration. A registered coach or club representative must sign the USA Registration Compliance form or entries will not be accepted. Clubs will be fined $100 for any swimmer not meeting the current 2014 registration requirement. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. AGE GROUPS: Age as of October 25, 2014 shall determine the swimmer s age group for the meet. Swimmers will earn points in individual events for their respective age groups. Age groups will be 8-under, 10-under, 11-12, and 15-over. AWARDS: Individual Event Medals or Ribbons No high point awards or team awards. ENTRIES: entries are preferred via the attachment of the entry information in the Hytek format. Receipt of s will be verified. Entries should be submitted in yard times. Please follow-up all entries with a hard copy. In lieu of using or disk, entries may be submitted on a Master Sheet. Master sheets must include the first and last name of the swimmer, his or her age at the time of the meet, and the swimmer s USA number. The meet will be pre-seeded and pre-heated as Timed Finals based on entry times submitted in yards. There will be no on deck entries. "The meet referee in concurrence with the meet director may combine events in accordance with Section of the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations." 3 Phone (307) Norma Dufek ENTRY LIMIT: Each swimmer may swim a maximum of 5 individual events per day and a maximum of 2 relays per day. Each team may have up to 4 relay teams only in each relay event. ENTRY FEES: $4.00 per individual event, facility fee of $2 plus $6 per swimmer WSI fee for the meet. Relays are $5.00/team. No fee is necessary for the Halloween Surprise relay. There will be no refund of fees. RELAYS: WARM-UPS: TIMERS: Fun relays will be repeated this year. The Halloween Surprise Relay will have no awards and no entry fees required. All relays will be swum mixed gender and age group. Wyoming Swimming warm-up procedures will be followed. Teams will be assigned lanes and times for warm-up. These will be posted in the meet program. The first portion of each warm-up period will be circle swimming only, feet first entry. The last 5 minutes of each period shall be for racing starts and one-way swimming only. A coach MUST supervise all swimmers during the warm-up. There will be a safety officer on deck. Individual Teams will be assigned lanes for timing. Thank you for your help. Swimmers competing in the 500 free are responsible for providing their own timers and lap counter. CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available. Spook Splash T-shirts will be available for purchase. Please pre-order to secure availability. SCRATCHES: Scratches should be reported at the coaches meeting prior to the starting of the meet each day. RESULTS: Results will be given to a team representative at the meet closure or ed. OFFICIALS COMPENSATION: Officials who work the 31 1st Annual Spook Splash will receive $25/day. The stipend will be received after the meet if the payment voucher is complete and the form has been submitted to Norma Dufek. Payment will be sent within 5 days after the meet. An officials and coaches meeting will be held in the computer operations area of the pool. PHOTOGRAPHY: Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, locker rooms or behind the blocks. No flash photography shall be permitted in the pool area during competition. DECK CHANGE RULE: Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of

4 swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is strongly discouraged.
