Sunday Registration 8.30am, Warm up, 9.00am start. Warm up times & events will be issued according to entries. Age Group Events - FINA FIGURE GROUPS WILL BE DRAWN 72 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT Competitive Strands - 12 years & under; 13yrs, 14yrs & 15years; Juniors (15yrs. 15 year olds may swim in 1 age group only. Age as at midnight on the 31 st December in the year of competition Solos - Competitive - 12 yrs & under; 13yrs, 14yrs & 15 years; Juniors (15yrs Duets - Competitive - 12 yrs & under; 13yrs, 14yrs & 15 years; Juniors (15yrs - Recreational - 19 years and Under A Recreational duet may have 1 swimmer with a skill level and 1 without appropriate to their age group. Only 2 per club may enter. Free. Teams - Competitive - 12 yrs & under; 13yrs, 14yrs & 15 years; Juniors (15yrs Free Team can consist of 4 8 swimmers. The result will be 50% figures and 50 % routine mark. Open Free - Competitive - Open Free Combination Team can consist of 4 10 swimmers. Combination team Competitive swimmers do not have to enter the figure competition but must hold the appropriate Skill Level depending on their age group. The result will be 100% of the routine mark only. 15 year olds may swim in 1 age group only. (But may also swim in the Open Free Combination Team). Open Free - Recreational Combination Team -Free Routine Combination can consist of 4 10 swimmers. The result will be 100% of the routine mark only. No more than half the number of swimmers may have achieved the pre-requisite skill level to enter the competitive strand in their age group. 1 P a g e Clubs may enter more than 1 Open Free Combination team.

Open Free Combination Team All swimmers in Team must have appropriate skill levels according to ages. ******************************************************************* Entry Fees 10 Solo 10 Duet 15 Team 3.00 per swimmer up to a maximum of 30 Music Cue Sheets All music information must be registered with British Swimming at Sport Park, 3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 3QF. It is recommended that music should have a lead in of approx 4 secs. Competitors must bring a copy of Music Licence Certificate. 3 Scottish Medals and Trophies will only be presented to Competitive strand swimmers Medals will be presented to swimmers in Recreational strand. Please note that the format of this competition will be reviewed after the competition. Transport Each delegation must arrange its own hotel accommodation and local transportation between the hotel, pool and train station or airport. Scottish Swimming National and Open Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships 2015 WITHDRAWALS: Competitors withdrawing from events in the National & Age Group Championships will be fined as follows. Any withdrawal after the closing date 4.00 per routine. Any withdrawal after 12 noon on the day prior to the competition 7.00 per routine If the withdrawal is due to medical reasons the swimmer must produce documentary proof of the medical condition. 3 P a g e

5 The Age Groups shall be as outlined below: Entry Qualification for the Competitive Skill Strand 1. Age as at midnight on the 31 st December in the year of competition & under Age group having a minimum of skill level 2 for all events /14 & 15 years Age Group having a minimum of skill level 2 for and Team. A minimum of Skill Level 3 for Solo and Duet entries. 4. Juniors having a minimum skill level 3 for and Team and a minimum of Skill Level 4 for Solo and Duet. Senior Nationals as outlined below: Minimum of Skill Level 4 Solos Duets Entry qualification for the Recreational Strand The age groups shall be as outlined below: 1. Age as at midnight on the 31 st December in the year of competition. 2. No skill entry is required. The only criteria are that swimmers must conform to SASA law regarding minimum age. 3. Competitors who hold the relevant skill level for their age may compete in the figure section of the competition. 4. For free combination in the recreational strand, no more than half the number of swimmers may have the pre-requisite skill level appropriate for the age group to enter the competitive strand. 5. A recreational duet may have one (1) swimmer with the appropriate skill level and one (1) without. 5 P a g e
