BRITISH SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP VENUE London Aquatics Centre Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park London E20 2ZQ Tel PUBLIC TRANSPORT There is no parking available at the London Aquatics Centre. Parking can be found at the nearby Westfield Shopping Centre. There is no street parking available. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase at the venue concession stands in the spectator seating area. The downstairs cafe will not be open to spectators for the duration of the event. There is no cash machine at the venue, the closest one being in the Westfield shopping centre, a short walk away. There are toilets and first-aid facilities inside the venue. In addition, the information point for all competition and venue information will be at the British Swimming Front of House desk in the upper welcome zone. Please be aware, that spectators will be asked to park any buggies in dedicated areas in the upper welcome zone as they will not be allowed in the venue. The British Swimming front of house desk will be located in the upper welcome zone of the main concourse. 4 TICKETS If you have purchased tickets through Ticketmaster don t forget to print your ticket before you arrive at the venue. Tickets will be available on the door at the London Aquatics Centre from Monday 13 th April The Ticketmaster Box Office will be open next to the Front of House desk in the upper welcome zone at the following opening times: Training day Competition days 13 th 14 th 15 th 16 th 17 th 18 th 07:00 07:00 12:00-18:30 13:45 17:00 Please note that some sessions have now sold out. Tickets for remaining sessions will be available on a first come first served basis at the event. Please visit the Ticketmaster website to check availability before travelling. Ticket prices on the door will be as follows: Heats Adult: 12 Heats Concession: 10 Finals Adult: 16 Finals Concession: 14 SPEEDO Visit the Speedo pop-up store in the London Aquatics Centre upper welcome zone. They will be retailing official event merchandise, training and racing aids and a selection of Fastskin products including the brand new LZR Racer X. VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY British Swimming are becoming increasingly concerned about the new wave of mobile telephones with a photographic capability, enabling the capture of both static & moving images. Used responsibly, such devices are perfectly safe, but sharing images widely may betray a confidence or even an identity & such information may help those who might want to harm children. The use of such equipment is difficult to control but we can all be vigilant & if you have any concerns in this area, please bring them to the attention of someone responsible. This event will be photographed and videoed. Static images will be displayed on the website at the venue and used to promote the sport at this event and events in the future. Moving images will displayed at the venue and used as part of a highlights package and live streaming which will be uploaded onto British swimming work closely with our experts to ensure that in making these images available to enhance the presentation of the event; we are not putting any children at risk in any way. Recording images: British Swimming may record the competition events in which you participate and general images of swimmers will form part of the information we hold and use. In addition to the purposes for general information set out above, British Swimming may use these recordings and images for the purposes of education and training, swimmer analysis, performance, development, selection and event promotion.
