1 West County Family YMCA Burkhardt Place Chesterfield, MO WCFY Wavemakers 1 st Annual Icebreaker Invitational Facility: The meet will be held at West County YMCA, Burkhardt Place, Chesterfield, MO (636) The facility features an eight-lane, 25 meter pool with non-turbulent lane lines. Spectator seating will be provided in two viewing areas outside the pool deck. Parents are not allowed on the pool deck during the meet. Please, no flash cameras are to be used prior and during the start of each race. Locker rooms will be available for changing. Each team will be given a designated area in the gym for their team area. Lawn chairs and coolers may be brought into the gym. This is a no tobacco campus, no smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Please no parking in the library parking lot. Location: From Westbound I-64, take exit 19A, turn left onto Chesterfield Parkway. Follow south for ¼ mile and turn right onto Burkhardt Place. From Eastbound I-64, take exit 19A turn left on Wild Horse Creek and then quick right onto Chesterfield Parkway. Take first right onto Burkhardt Place. Approval: This is a closed YMCA meet. Rules: YMCA rules will govern the meet. USA technical rules will apply. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms. Entries and Deadlines: Age of swimmer as of 12/1/13 will govern. Swimmers may compete in 3 individual events and 1 relay. 2 it is the responsibility of the teams to check their entries for errors. Deck entries will be accepted in open lanes only. Fees: Individual events are $4.00 per event, relays are $16.00 per team. There will be an $4.00 per swimmer surcharge. Deck entries will be $6.00 per event and payment must be submitted as entry is made. Meet Schedule: Session 1: Warm-ups will begin at 8:00am Scratches and Deck Entries done by 8:30 Meet Start at 9:15am Session 2: Warm-ups will begin no earlier than 1:30pm, Meet start no earlier than 2:30pm. Workers: Meet Referees: Patty Draves. Certified officials will be needed from all teams as well as timers. Timer assignments will be posted on our website Wednesday January, 8 th. Scoring and Awards: 1.Individual ribbons will be awards for places one through six for each event. Ribbons will be awarded for the top three relay finishes. 2. High Point trophies will be given to the top boy and girl points in each age group. 3. Team trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in overall points, WCFY is not eligible for team awards. 4. Heat awards will be given to swimmers upon completion of their races. Concessions: Full concessions will be available; a hospitality room will be available for coaches and officials. Heat Sheets: Will be posted on the team website by Thursday, January 9 th. They will not be for sale during the meet. Vendors: B&B Aquatics will be on site and will offer swim suits, goggles, caps, etc. for sale. Bullpen: There must be parental supervision of each team in the bullpen AT ALL TIMES. Swimmers must stay off the track and out of the fitness areas of the Y.

3 Swimmer Conduct: It is expected that all swimmers and spectators alike will exhibit courteous, sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
