Cody Kountry Aquatic Team Cody Aquatic and Recreational Center, 1402 Heart Mountain Street, Cody, Wyoming, Warm Ups Officials Meeting Coaches Meeting Meet Begins Saturday, :00 AM 10:30 AM 11:00 AM 11:15 AM Sunday, 2-8 7:45 AM 8:15 AM 8:45 AM 9:00 AM Meet Time: Pool: Regulation Short Course, 25 yards, eight lanes, non-turbulent lane markers, Daktronics Timing System, horn starting system. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with C(4). Pool depth is 5 feet 6 inches at the starting end of lanes 1 through 4, and 12 feet 0 inches at the starting end of lanes 5 through 8. The pool depth at the turn wall end is 4 feet 0 inches. Timing: Daktronics Timing System with 8 lane scoreboard and semi-automatic backup and 2 manual backup timers per lane. All teams will be expected to provide timers based on the number of swimmers their team has participating in the meet. The head Meet Referee will be the final authority for conduct of the competition. All events will be timed finals. The Meet Referee, in concurrence with the Meet Director, may consolidate events in accordance section of the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.

2 Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Eligibility: No swimmer will be permitted to compete unless the swimmer is a member as provided in USA Swimming Article 302. There will be NO on-deck registrations. Wyoming Swimming s Registration Compliance Form or the Hy-Tek Team Manager Official Statement Form must be signed by a USA registered club representative. Wyoming Swimming, Inc. may impose a $100 fine against a member coach or member club submitting a meet entry which indicates a swimmer is registered when that swimmer or the listed club is not properly registered. Age Groups: Swimmer s age will be determined by his/her age on the first day of the meet, February 7, & under (not a recognized USA age group), 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-Over. Please see EVENTS for the 500 and 1650 freestyle events. Scoring: Individual: 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Relays are double, you may enter as many relays as you want, but only one relay per team can score. Awards: Individual and Relay Events: 1-3 Medals, 4-6 Ribbons Entries: All events will be pre-seeded, time finals. Each swimmer is limited to a maximum of 5 individual events and a maximum of 2 relays per day. Please submit entries in yards. Entries may be made in Hy-Tek software. Please include a printout of your entries from Team Manager listing athletes in alphabetical order. Teams not using Hy-Tek may enter on the master sheets (or ), to indicate the event and swimmer s best time. Master sheets must include the first and last name of the swimmer, his or her age at the time of the meet and the swimmer s USA number. A club representative must sign the USA Registration Compliance Form and submit with entries. Entry Fees: The fees are $6.00 for each registered swimmer (state participation fee), $6.00 facility fee, $4.00 for each individual event and $5.00 for each relay. Deadline: Entries must be postmarked or ed by Thursday, January 29th, This meet is pre-seeded using short course yard times. No late entries will be accepted. entries to boysenra@msn.com.

Box 1041 Cody, WY Warm Ups: There will be three assigned warm up sessions of twenty minutes each. Procedure will comply with USA and Wyoming Swimming Inc. guidelines. No diving during the general warm up. Sprints will be allowed during the final half of each warm up period, and will be one way swimming only. A USA certified coach must be on deck during the entire warm up, and all coaches, meet directors, and officials must display their USA cards in plain view and on their person while on deck. This will be strictly enforced. Swimmers without a coach at the meet will report to the Meet Director for assignment to a warm-up lane. Officials Compensation: Officials shall be compensated at a rate of $40/day upon completion of the event, and after submitting to Meet Director a completed voucher. Final Results: Teams may pick up their flash drives containing the final results at the end of the meet. Results will also be ed following the meet.
