Session times may be amended dependent on number of entries. Format: All events are Heat Declared Winner (HDW). Heats will be seeded from submitted entry times with slowest swimmers first. All heats will be spearheaded. When called for an event, swimmers must report to the competition stewards to be allocated a heat and lane number. It is the responsibility of the individual to report to the stewarding area in sufficient time for each event. The Promoters will not be held responsible for a swimmer missing the start of their particular heat. Starts will be over the top where possible, at the Referees discretion, to ensure that the events run to time in each session. Awards: Awards will be made to the fastest three swimmers in each age group.

2 Entry Times: A competitor may only enter with times slower than the Upper Limit Time in the table included. These are set at the 2017 BSB County Consideration times. As this is a level 3 Meet recorded times can be used for entry into the 2017 BSB.County Championships, Regional Championships and other Level 1 and Level 2 Open meets. Entries: Entries should be made using a Hy-Tek file or using the official form attached. Please include one consolidated entry form per club remembering to include officials. Submitted times should be current best times for a 25m pool. Acceptance into any event will be on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis. Any swimmer not accepted due to a restriction on numbers being imposed by the Promoter will have the entry fee refunded in full. The promoter reserves the right to seek confirmation of submitted times and to reject swimmers who have entered incorrect times, where times are faster than the Upper Limit Time. Refunds will not be given under these circumstances. Note that entries will not be processed and accepted until payment has been received.(see Technical Officials section below). Completed entry forms to be returned with the appropriate entry fee to Reading Swimming Club, c/o Chris Roberts, 33 Honey end Lane, Reading, Berks, RG30 4EL. The entry fee is 5.50 per event. Cheques should be made payable to Reading Swimming Club, with one cheque per club. A list of accepted entries, Meet and warm-up instructions will be sent out via and displayed on the RSC web site. Any refunds due will be sent out to all who enclose an SAE with their entries, or can be collected on the 5 th November at the Meet. Closing date: The closing date for entries is Thursday 6th October Should the Meet be oversubscribed notification of closure to entries will be posted on the RSC website. Results: Results will be available on the day and will also be published on the RSC website within 2 days of the Meet. This Meet has been licensed at level 3 by the ASA. Times recorded at the Meet will be sent to the ASA for inclusion in the National Rankings within 2 days of the Meet.

3 Technical Officials: Without sufficient licensed ASA officials we will not be able to run this Meet. All clubs sending swimmers are asked to supply names and contact details of as many willing Officials as possible. Coaches passes: Coaches will need a coach pass for poolside access at the Meet. These cost 10 each which includes a programme and refreshments between sessions. The recommended ratio of adults to swimmers on poolside is 1:10. Time Trials: Time Trials may be offered where there would otherwise be empty lanes. Time trials will be swum in the appropriate seeding order. Time trials will be on a first come first served basis, and competitors wishing to swim time trials should ask the club coach to contact the Meet Manager prior to the Meet at meetenquiries@readingswimclub.org. There will be a charge of 5.50 per time trial swim. Withdrawal: A withdrawal system will be in operation. Club coaches are expected to submit withdrawal forms as soon as possible for swimmers and no later than the start of the warm-up for the session. No refunds will be given for withdrawn entries. Spectator Charges: Spectator charges will be as follows (children under 12 FREE): 4 per session (or 7 for both) 1.50 per session for OAPs (or 2 for both) Please note that Reading Swimming Club does not have any control of the car parking charges and will not be providing any refunds for parking.
