The pl is a 6-lane 25-yard pl with a Clrad Timing System screbard, and tuch pads at bth ends f the pl. The depth f the pl at the starting end is 12 and the shallw end is 4. There is balcny seating fr 125 spectatrs. Free parking is available in the schl lt. The cmpetitin curse has nt been certified in accrdance with C(4). This meet is pen t 8 & Under swimmers registered in 2011 with USA Swimming. Age grups are determined by the swimmer's age n Nvember 13th, This meet will be run accrding t current USA Swimming rules and regulatins. Unregistered swimmers may register n deck at this meet by turning in the athlete registratin frm and payment t the Meet Directr. The cst f registering n deck is duble the nrmal fee ($120 per swimmer fr registratin). This applies t all swimmers attached t a club. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccmpanied by a USA Swimming member cach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member cach as being prficient in perfrming a racing start r must start each race frm within the water. It is the respnsibility f the swimmer r the swimmer s legal guardian t ensure cmpliance with this requirement. Swimmers with a disability are welcme t enter this meet. The cach r team entry persn must alert the meet directr and the meet referee as t the need fr any special accmmdatins r seeding arrangements at the time the entry is submitted. Swimmers may cmpete in a maximum f FOUR (4) individual events and TWO (2) relays. MEET FORMAT Pre-Seeded Timed Finals Tw sessins The Meet Directr reserves the right t mdify sessins if numbers f entries warrant it. START TIMES: Sessin 1: Girls Warm-up: 8:00am / Start: 9:00am Sessin 2: Bys Warm-up: N earlier than 12:00pm / Start: 1 hur after warm-up start WARM-UP: USA Swimming and Middle Atlantic safety prcedures will be enfrced thrughut the meet. Warm-ups are subject t the fllwing prcedures: The warm-up sessins may be divided int perids f equal length depending n the number f swimmers entered int each sessin. Warm-up schedules will be made available t caches at the meet. Sprint/Start lanes will be available at the end f each warm-up sessin. N diving r backstrke starts will be permitted except in sprint lanes, when designated. The referee may remve anyne frm the warm-up fr failure t cmply with the warm-up rules. Swimmers withut a cach must reprt t the Meet Directr befre entering the pl fr warm-up in rder t btain a lane assignment. Nte: Swimmers vilating safety prcedures will be remved frm the warm-up fr the remainder f the warm-up sessin. Subsequent vilatins may cause the swimmer t be disqualified frm the remainder f the meet. 1

2 ENTRIES: Team entries received by Nvember 4th, 2011 will be entered in the rder in which they are received. ALL ENTRIES must be received by Nvember 4th, Entries must be submitted in the curse in which they were achieved. Cnverted time shuld NOT be used. All times submitted must be the swimmer's best time. Swimmers withut a valid USS time in an event must be submitted as a "NT" in that event. Entries must be submitted using HY-TEK sftware frmat. N Flppies! A hard cpy printut r attached MS Wrd dcument listing each swimmer alphabetically, with each swimmer's events and entry times, must accmpany the entry file. If a HY-TEK file is nt pssible, the Official Entry Frm must be used. If entering 5 r mre swimmers using this frm, a prcessing fee f $2.00 per swimmer must be included. A cmpleted Meet Summary Sheet MUST accmpany each team s entry. Ntice: As per Middle Atlantic regulatins, failure t enter a swimmer's best time culd result in suspensin frm cmpetitin fr a minimum f 3 mnths, but nt mre than ne year. Further vilatin by a cach, parent, r swimmer culd result in that persn being frbidden t participate in r attend USA Swimming functins. ENTRY LIMITS: All swimmers may cmpete in a maximum f fur (4) individual and tw (2) relays. The Meet Directr reserves the right t limit entries in any event in rder t stay within a reasnable time limit, OR separate sessins. If limits becme necessary, teams will be ntified thrugh their club cntact. If limits are impsed, all eliminated swimmers/teams will receive a full refund. 3 DECK ENTRIES: SAFETY: AWARDS: DECK ACCESS: Deck Entries may be accepted during the meet at the Meet Directr's discretin. If accepted Deck Entries: May nly be submitted during the first 30 minutes f each warm-up sessin. Will be fr available lanes ONLY. Extra heats will nt be added. Will nt be accepted after the start f a sessin. Swimmers will nt be eligible fr awards in deck entered events. Swimmers nt previusly entered in the meet must prvide prf f current USA Swimming registratin. Current USA Swimming Safety Rules will be in effect and will be strictly enfrced. DECK CHAIRS: Due t space limitatins and facilities requirements, swimmers will nt be permitted t bring "chairs" n deck. This rule des NOT apply t caches. Officials and caches must wear their USA Swimming ID cards t be allwed n deck. START PROCEDURES: This Meet will be cnducted using the N Recall false start rule. This Meet will als use the whistle cmmand start, supplemented with verbal cmmands. OFFICIALS: All USA Certified Officials and Trainees are invited t wrk the meet. FINAL RESULTS: Results will be psted n the Middle Atlantic Swimming website A results file will als be ed t each club prviding a valid address (1 per club) upn entering the meet. THE SCOREBOARD IS THE UNOFFICIAL TIME. Prblems may result frm numbers n the bard sticking r frm the swimmer nt tuching the pads prperly. All results will be reviewed by the meet screr and certified by the Meet Referee when a discrepancy ccurs. COACHES ONLY shuld ntify the meet referee f any prblems with the meet results (be it time r awards). Team fficials are asked t reprt any discrepancies t the Meet Directr within 24 hurs f the meet results being distributed via . SPECTATORS: VOLUNTEERS: HOSPITALITY: Balcny seating is available fr up t 125 spectatrs. We have a cncessin area in the lbby. Vlunteer Timers will be needed fr this meet. Vlunteers will receive a refund n their admissin and access t the hspitality area. There will be fd and drinks available fr vlunteers, fficials and caches. 3
