SANCTION # NT XXX-14. The competition course has been certified in accordance with C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. The minimum water depth, measured in accordance with Article , is 12 feet at the start end and 5 foot 6 inches at the turn end. The use of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is strongly discouraged. FACILITY The Frisco ISD Natatorium located at 7411 First Street Frisco, Texas Frisco ISD Natatorium is an 8-lane, 25 yard pool equipped with non - turbulent racing lanes and Colorado electronic timing. 8 lanes will be used for competition and the shallow end will be used for warm up / warm down. Bleacher Seating is available for over 800. Parking accessible from First Street. The 500 free is the ONLY EVENT THAT REQUIRES CHECK-IN. All events will be in event order, slowest to fastest. Athlete responsible for lap counters. No deck entry for relays. MEET WILL BE LIMITED TO 400 ATHLETES. ELIGIBILITY Athletes may compete in either an attached or unattached status based upon the applicable transfer rules contained in the current USA Swimming Rules and Regulations. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THE ENTRANT IS A REGISTERED ATHLETE MEMBER WITH USA SWIMMING, INC. EVERY CLUB ENTERED AS A TEAM IN NORTH TEXAS SWIMMING SANCTIONED MEETS MUST BE A MEMBER OF USA SWIMMING, INC. Swimmer s age as of 7/18/14 shall determine his/her age for entire meet. Athlete registrations will not be accepted at the meet. All registered USA Swimming athletes are able to compete. NO DECK REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. All athletes with times slower than a BB standard is eligible to swim.

2 DISABILITY Coaches and or swimmers are responsible for notifying the meet referee or meet director of any disability prior to the completion and for providing their own assistant or equipment. Please contact the meet director/referee at least 2 weeks in advance of the meet to reserve proper equipment. CHECK IN Check-in is NOT required for any events, EXCEPT the 500 free. The check-in deadline will be 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of that session. _x Indicates swimmer will swim the event. _SCR_ Indicates swimmer will not swim the event. Indicates swimmer will not swim the event. RULES Current USA Rules and Regulations will govern the conduct of the meet. Spectators are not allowed on deck. All coaches and officials must wear current year USA Swimming card at all times while on deck. All Officials must present current certification card at check-in. Coaches must present upon check-in, a current USA card, and your card must be displayed at all times, to be allowed on deck and in hospitality. Swimmers are responsible for swimming in their assigned heats and lanes. Current NT and USA Swimming suit rules will be in effect. Unattached/Unaccompanied Athletes: Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a membercoach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. ENTRIES A swimmer may enter 4 individual events a day. Please submit entries in HY- TEK TEAM MANAGER format. Please include printout of each swimmer s entries to be used as a backup. Include first and last name, age, USAS number and seedtime. Your entry is not complete until check is received. ENTRY FEES Individual event $3.75., s are $ $3.00 surcharge per swimmer. Checks should accompany the entries and be payable to Frisco Aquatics. ENTRY DEADLINE All entries must be received no later than Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 6PM. Please waive signature for overnight deliveries. entries to swimfrisco@aol.com. MAIL ENTRIES TO: Dan McDonough 1141 Timber Lane Frisco, TX USPS EXPRESS MAIL or FEDEX highly recommended. Please sign signature waiver. LATE ENTRIES Late entries will be accepted for available lanes that were created from the initial seeding from entries received. Once those lanes are filled no more late entries will be accepted. No additional heats will be created. Late fee will be $10.00 per individual event. Late entries must show their USAS registration card to the Clerk of Course to verify current USAS membership. Late entries will be accepted at Clerk of Course by the following time schedule: Saturday before 8:00am Sunday before 8:00am

3 AWARDS/ SCORE Ribbons will be awarded to First through eighth place. Scoring: This meet will not be scored. Heat winners will be awarded. HEAT SHEETS Heat sheets will be available for sale at all sessions. Deck seeded events will be posted. OFFICIALS Please contact the Meet Referee, 10 days prior to the meet if a specific assignment (apprentices) is requested otherwise report to the meet referee 1 hour prior to the sessions. All officials must wear current USA Swimming registration card while on deck and must also present current Officials certification card at check-in. Officials without proper credentials will not be allowed on deck. WARM UP NORTH TEXAS SWIMMING, INC. SAFETY GUIDELINES AND WARM-UP PROCEDURES WILL BE IN EFFECT AT THIS MEET. Each team must provide at least one USA Certified Coach to monitor warm-ups. Lanes will be assigned according to number of entries for entire warm-up. First 30 minutes will be general warm followed by 15 minutes of one way starts. All teams will follow this format in their assigned lanes. Please note; the meet director may adjust the warm-up times based on entries received. COACHES MEETING A Coaches meeting will be held at 8:15a on deck before the start of each morning session on Saturday and Sunday upon meet referee s discretion. LIABILITY IN GRANTING THIS SANCTION AND BY ANY PERSON S PARTICIPATION IN THE MEET IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT USA SWIMMING, INC., NORTH TEXAS SWIMMING, INC., ALL MEET OFFICIALS, FRISCO ISD SHALL BE FREE FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES OR ANY CLAIMS FOR ANY DAMAGES, EVEN IF SUCH LIABILITIES OR CLAIMS ARE DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF SUCH ORGANIZATIONS, ARISING BY REASON OF INJURIES TO ANYONE DURING THE CONDUCT OF THE MEET. DAMAGE TO A FACILITY, WHEN PROVED, WILL CAUSE THE OFFENDING SWIMMER, IF UNATTACHED, OR THE OFFENDING SWIMMER S CLUB, IF ATTACHED, TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR REPAIRS. Acceptance of the policy is evidenced by entry in the meet. Failure of swimmers, coaches, etc., to follow the direction of the Safety Marshall may result in their removal from the meet without the refund of entry fees. Order of
