2 INTERNATIONAL SWIM MEET DAYS SWIM MEETING 150 ATHLETES PARTICIPANTS FROM ABROAD AND CYPRUS PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE OLYMPIC MEDALISTS AND WORLD CLASS SWIMMERS. PROMOTION THROUGH MEDIA. Following last years success The Limassol Nautical Club organizes for the 3 nd consecutive year the International swim meet 2015 The meet will take place at the Limassol Olympic Swimming Pool on the of November It will be under the auspices of the Cyprus Swimming Federation and it will be run under the rules and regulations of FINA. The pool is equipped with Omega starting blocks and electronic timing (daktronics timing system) The meet will be attended by a big number of competitors and spectators from Cyprus and abroad as well as elite level swimmers with Olympic and world medals.

3 INTERNATIONAL SWIM MEET 2015 Details 1. The International Swim Met is organized by Limassol Nautical Club, in association with Cyprus Swimming Federation at Limassol Olympic Swimming pool (50 m.) and it will be run under the rules and regulations of FINA. 2. The pool is equipped with Omega starting blocks and electronic timing (daktronics timing system) 3. Each athlete may participate in not more than 4 individual events and at any number of relays. 4. For the athletes members of the Cypriot Clubs, participation will be possible provided qualifying times of the Cyprus Swimming Association (open category) for men or women are achieved, from 1/1 until 30/09/ Each club can participate with maximum 2 teams in each relay. 6. All events will be held in final series, without preliminaries. 7. Athletes will be ranked in each event according the best time recorded from 1/1/2015 until 30/09/ First Winners of each event will be awarded with trophies, where medals will be given to the 2 nd and 3 rd of each event. The best man and woman swimmers, according to FINA points, will be rewarded with a special trophy.. 9. Participations must be sent to Cyprus Swimming Federation at koek@logos.cy.net latest by 16/11/2015 at 10:00 morning (Cyprus Time). 10. Participation fee : 10 / athlete. 11. 12 LEMESIA 2014 INTERNATIONAL SWIM MET REVIEW As promised, the Organizers (Limassol Nautical Club and Limassol Municipality), the 2 nd International Swim Met Lemesia 2014 was a great success. Apart from the administrator excellence, the contribution in the success had the champions Evgeny Korotyshkin, George Bovell, Andreas Vazaios, Giannis Drimonakos, Maria Mihalaka, Stephanos Demetriades, Nikos Sofianides, Anna Doudounaki, as well as the rest of the athletes from Greece, Israel and Cyprus. Best FINA points male athlete was George Bovell with 853 FINA points (100 m. individual medley 53:52) and female Anna Doudounaki with 750 FINA points (100 m. butterfly 1:00:59). 4 National Greek records were achieved. 2 by Nikos Sofianides at 50 and 200 backstroke, 2 by Andreas Vazaios at 100 m. butterfly and 50 m. backstroke. 11 Cyprus National records. 4 by Sofoklis Mougis, 2 by Stephany Chacholiadou, 2 by Constantinow Frangoulides, and from 1 from Marinos Mitellas Lydia Kasapi and the relay team of Famagusta Nautical Club.
