5 INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION Swimming Pool: Marmaris Indoor Swimming pool, Short-course (25 meters), 6-Lane, water temperature degrees, Electronic timing The competition will be held under FINA law & technical rules All heats will be from slowest to fastest in each age group as in World and European Masters Swimming Championship. All clubs can participate at each event with as many competitors as they wish throughout the competition. This competition will be an official swimming championship sponsored by the Turkish Swimming Federation (TSF). Thus, all results and broken records will be officially registered by the person assigned by TSF. Awards: Swimmers ranked in first 3 in each age group and relays will be awarded a medal. All participants will receive a certificate. The Trophy Cups will be awarded to the Best Women (first 3) and the Best Men (first 3) of Short Course AQUAMASTERS Swimming Championship according to total FIN points in the 4 individual events. All clubs/swimmers who are Pre-Master (Age 20-24/ C0 Group) can participate in the competition as unclassified. The participant can swim 2 races per day and 6 races total throughout the competition. The number of Pre-Master swimmers will be limited to 6 per club. Officials: The officials will be National Referees assigned by the Muğla Youth and Sports Directorate. For those who will be staying at the Martı Resort De Luxe Hotel, there will be free shuttle services running between the venue and hotel before the morning and afternoon sessions. COMPETITION RULES Final date for submissions of entries: MAY 04, 2018 Friday/ 17:00. All participitants must submit an entry time for each events which they will participate. Entries without times (NT) will not be accepted. Only swimmers with an official licence for season can participate the competition. A participitant can enter total of 9 individual events (max. 3 events per day) and 4 relays (2 relays per day (1 mixed, 1 individual)). All clubs can participate to relay event more than 1 team in each age group and category. Relay event participitants age and line will be official and total age of the team members cannot be changed. (Mixed relays will be 2 women + 2 men) Relay event teams (Name of the team members) should be submitted to the referees by an official of the club before each morning session of related relay event. Only in case of an injury of a team member, relay team can be changed and the officials should be informed about the situation half an hour before the relay event. The entrance fee is 15-TL per individual event, 30-TL per relay event. Entry fees have to be paid in advance by bank. The proper amount should be transfered to the account of the Tia Tanitim ve Reklamcilik Ltd. Sti, IBAN: TR and please mention KISA KULVAR as subject. Meet entries and a receipt about the payment should be sent to kisakulvar@aquamasters.org. Entries without the receipt will not be accepted. Foreign participant will be able to pay before the competition when they arrive for the championship. The receipts will be given by the officials Objections about the events should be directly submitted to Competition officials. Objection fee is 350-TL. 8 MEET SCHEDULE PROFiLO Open Water Swimming Endurance Half Marathon consists of single course. Length of course : 5000 meter for both women and men. START : 09:30 AWARD CEREMONY: 13:30 All swimmers must be present at the location of the event with an official licence for season to be given numbers at 8:00. Before numbering process, no participitant should be put protective lotion on his/her skin. Numbering process will be end at 9:00. Race Pack May 19, Saturday Each participant will be given a Arena Backpack, an Aquamasters Championships sweatshirt, Cap and Aquamasters Towel. 9 COMPETITION RULES 1. All clubs accredited by Turkish Swimming Federation and individual swimmers can participate the competition. 2. Only competitors with an official license for season or with a valid Medical Report which was given within the 6 months can participate 5000 METERS THE International AQUAMASTERS PROFILO OPEN WATER HALF MARATHON ENDURANCE EVENT. Licence or the medical report will be collected by officials before the race.. Otherwise, they will not be able to participate. For foreign participants, they will be accredited with an passport and written agreement. 3. The competition will be held under FINA Open Water rules & regulations. 4. Medals will be given to swimmers ranked in first 3 in each group in each events. Trophy cups will be given the first woman and man in overall ranking in 5000 meters event. Aquayouths and Pre-masters will not be in the overall ranking but they will be given in medal if swimmers ranked in first 3 in their age group in each events. 5. All participant who completed the event will be given a certificate. 6. Cut-off time for 5000 mt are 160-minutes. The participant who cannot finish in specified time will be taken to the boats. 7. Referees will be in boats and will warn the swimmers in case of any problems with determined race course. In case of any violation of the rules, referees will disqualify the participant. 8. If in the opinion of referee, any swimmer cannot be able to continue the event, the participant will be taken to the boat and disqualified. 9. In case of making intentional contact with any swimmer, the participant will be disqualified. 10. The participant cannot wear any kind of watches or jewelleries. In case of any violation of this rule, the swimmer will be disqualified. 11. Entry fees have to be paid in advance by bank. The proper amount should be transfered to account of the TIA TANITIM VE REKLAMCILIK LTD. STI, IBAN: TR and please mention MARATON as subject. Meet entries and a receipt about the payment should be sent to maraton@aquamasters.org. Entries without the receipt or event type will not be accepted. If the swimmer would not participate, there would not be repayment. Foreign participants will be able to pay before competition. If swimmers do not notify about the t-shirt sizes, women competitors will be given Medium whereas men competitors will be given Large. There will one swim kit per swimmer if you choose combination of open water events 5000 meter or 3000 meter. 12. Organization committee reserve the right to change, cancel, correction about the any rules of competition. 13. There will be coordination meeting before the competition among Aquamasters Board, Governorship of Muğla, District Governorship of Marmaris, Port Administrative of Marmaris, Marine Police and Coast Guard. The organization holds the right to change the date of competition to next day (20 th of May) if there is any situation which will danger the swimmers or accompanying boats. Aquamasters Board hold the right to cancel the event if the weather conditions will not improve. There won t be repayment in case of cancellation. There won t also be a repayment if the swimmer decide not to enter. 14. Wet suits will not be allowed.

10 COMPETITION RULES Information about Written Consent 1. All swimmers who is 18 and competing with a medical report should sign a written consent and hand in to the official referees. 2. All swimmers who is under 18 should hand in their written consent signed by their parents/legal guardian. 3. If the written consents are not signed, swimmers cannot enter the race. 13 What is Relay Meet? This event will be the first in our country organized by Aquamasters. It will be competitive open water event between teams, each will have 4 swimmers. Relay is limited with 100 teams (400 swimmers) Relay Meet groups MEN (4 male swimmers) WOMEN (4 female swimmers) MIXED (2 male + 2 female swimmers) All 4 swimmers will have same team number. Each swimmer will be written same number on their shoulder, ankle and back. All 4 will be ready at the start together. Each swimmer will swim 500 m and every 500 m another member of team will start swimming until last member of team finish the event. When the last swimmer of the team finish the event, total time of 4 swimmers will be the swimming time of the team. Each team will be swimming total of 2000 m (4x500 m) counter-clock wise of the swimming course as shown in figure. Wet suits will not be allowed.
