When Sunday, 23 July 2017 Where TMCC Competition Pool Time 2.00pm Fee $20.00 * Closing Date Monday, 17 July 2017 When Saturday, 22 July 2017 Where TMCC Squash Courts Time 4.00pm Fee Free (For Members only) Closing date Monday, 10 July 2017 TMCC SWIMMING PROGRAMME 2017 Swimming programme (by Yale Swimming) comprises of 4 recreation levels: Total Beginner (45 minutes) - Swimmers will be introduced to water safety, taught basic breathing techniques coupled with games to enhanced the child s interest to swimming. Level 1 (45 minutes) - Swimmers will be taught to streamline (keep their body in a straight / prone position). This level focuses on the flutter kick (freestyle kick), gliding and backstroke kicks. Level 2 (45 minutes) - Frontcrawl (freestyle) will be the primary stroke the swimmers will be focusing on during this level. Swimmers will also be taught the basic backstroke co-ordination techniques. Level 3 (60 minutes) - By the end of level 3, swimmers would effectively be able to swim the 3 basic strokes; breaststroke (froggy), front crawl (freestyle) and backstroke. Currently, classes are being conducted on Sundays from pm. Do register your interest with us quickly before the slots get snapped up.
