The youth that are Phil Cline Family Y members and are coming to swim must have a permission form filled out at the Phil Cline Family Y and have it with them when they come to swim. They must be brought over by a Phil Cline family Y staff member, or the staff must call and inform the May Building Welcome Center how many youth are coming over with their permission forms filled out. These forms will have their name, phone number, and contact person to call in case of an emergency. If the Phil Cline Family Y youth member does not have a form, he or she is not allowed to go swimming. The May Building Welcome Center staff is to collect these forms and keep them. If the pool staff or any staff members have a problem with a Phil Cline Family Y youth member they are to notify Executive Director of the member and the problem. Parents of a Phil Cline Family Y youth member can come in and watch their child swim but cannot use the building. If parents want to swim with their child, they must make arrangements with the Executive Director prior to the date their child comes to swim, and the Executive Director will leave a pass at the May Building Welcome Center for that parent. The child and parent must sign the guest book at the May Building and have the permission form filled out from the Phil Cline Family Y. We want these children to enjoy swimming at the May Building, but they must follow this procedure. If parents do not follow the procedure, then parents are at fault just as much as the youth member.
