LOCATION: Christiansburg Aquatic Center, 595 N. Franklin Street Christiansburg, VA (540) FACILITY: 50 Meter by 25 yard pl, lanes have nn-turbulent lane lines, deck-anchred starting blcks and water depth f min. f 7.0 feet. The race curse will be set up t swim widths with the pl depth slping frm 7 t 17 feet. MEET DIRECTOR: The curse f cmpetitin will be tw 25-yard curses swimming the width f the pl. Clrad Timing System with clr screbard and separate vide bard will be used. The cmpetitin curse has been certified in accrdance with current USA Swimming Rules and Regulatins, Article C(4). DISABILITY SWIMMERS: N n-deck USA Swimming athlete registratin will be permitted. Age n December 11, 2015 will determine age fr the entire meet. Athletes with a disability are welcmed and shall prvide advance ntice f desired accmmdatins t the Meet Directr. The athlete (r the athlete's cach) is als respnsible fr ntifying the sessin referee f any disability prir t the cmpetitin. FORMAT: All 10 & Under events will be timed finals and swim in the afternn sessins All 11 & 12 Preliminary Events will swim in afternn sessin. All 13 & 14 and Senir events will swim a preliminary sessin in the mrning sessin. The tp 1 heat f single age 11 year ld and tp 1 heat f 12 year ld swimmers will swim the final sessin each day. The tp tw heats in the and Tp three heats f Senir age grups will swim the final sessin each day. Except Senir Events #15 and #16 400IM and #61 and # Free where the tp tw heats will swim in finals. The fllwing events will be swum as timed finals with the tp Heat after seeding and scratches f each age grup swimming in finals: (#37 &38) 200 Back, (#71 &72)200 Fly, (#105 and 106) 200 Breast. 12&Over 1650 Free ( #91 &92) All 13 & Over Relays will swim in Finals. Finals may be run in tw curses (Wmen s curse/ Men s Curse). WARM-UP: Mrning sessins: Warm-ups start at 6:30 am; cmpetitin starts at 8:15 am. Friday and Saturday Finals: Warm-ups start nt befre 4:00 pm; cmpetitin starts nt befre 5:00 pm Sunday Finals: Warm-ups start nt befre 3:000 pm and cmpetitin starts nt befre 4:00 pm 1

N later than December 9, Distance sessins: Will begin at the cnclusin f the mrning sessin. Exact start time will depend n number f entries in the meet. The 1650 may be flighted. B Flight wuld swim n Friday after Prelims. A Flight wuld swim n Sunday after prelims. All Preliminary and Final warm-ups will be General fllwed by a specific perid. ENTRIES: DEADLINE FOR THE RECEIPT OF ENTRIES IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2015 Entries must be submitted in shrt curse yards times using Hy-Tek Team Manager and Cmmlink-2 sftware. Teams must submit entries via . A Team Manager printut f entries must be included. Entry sheet with the name f the persn t cntact in case f questins must accmpany the entries, regardless f hw they are submitted. N Time (NT) entries will be accepted. 11 & Over swimmers may enter a maximum f 3 Individual events per day. 10 & Under swimmers may enter 4 individual events per day. Relay teams must be designated A, B, C, etc., if mre than ne per club is entered per event. Entries will be prcessed in the rder received and accepted t the greatest extent pssible withut exceeding the 4-hur/sessin timeline limit. The Meet Directr reserves the right t limit entries in any events, if necessary, t prevent t lengthy a sessin. Failure t pay entry fees by this deadline culd result in teams being barred frm the meet. IMPORTANT: If payment is sent via Express Mail/FedEx/Airbrne/UPS/etc., please ensure that a signature is NOT required fr delivery as this will delay the receipt f yur entries. AWARDS: Individual events: Medals will be awarded fr 1st thrugh 3rd place. Ribbns 4 th -10 th place. 13 & Over events will be given separate awards fr and Senir age grups. 11/12 events will be scred as single age grups, 11 yr lds and 12 yr lds. 10&Under events will be scred as single age grups: 10yr lds,9yr lds, and 8&Under. Relay events: Ribbns will be awarded fr 1st thrugh 10th place. SEEDING: Psitive check-in fr all events except # s 91 and 92(1650) will clse 30 minutes prir t the start f the sessin Psitive Check-in will clse at 9:00am n Sunday December 15 th. SWIMMERS FAILING TO POSITIVELY CHECK-IN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SWIM THE EVENT. SWIMMERS WHO POSITIVELY CHECK-IN AND DO NOT SWIM THE EVENT WILL BE BARRED FROM THEIR NEXT INDIVIDUAL EVENT. 2

3 PENALTIES: Events # s: 91 and 92 (1650) Swimmer will have the ptin f swimming in the AM r PM n Sunday. After Finals heat has been determined, AM heats will be swum fastest t slwest and alternating heats f girls and bys. Tw pls will be utilized if available Penalties fr entries using fraudulent and/r nn-verifiable entry times: Swimmer shall be marked as exhibitin fr the event entered illegally and the event shall be re-scred and awarded. Club may be fined 100 fr each ffense, and a recrd f such ffenses shall be kept and published as part f the fficial meet results. Clubs entering swimmers nt legally registered with USA Swimming befre the first day f the meet may be fined 100 per swimmer in each event s entered. If the swimmer is representing a club in cmpetitin, the fine will be levied n the Club. If the swimmer is unattached, the fine will be levied n the swimmer. RULES: The current USA Swimming Rules and Regulatins will apply. OFFICIALS: SAFETY: Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USAS member cach as being prficient in perfrming a racing dive r must start each race frm within the water. If unaccmpanied by a member cach, the swimmer r the swimmer s legal guardian must ensure cmpliance with this requirement. The verhead start prcedure will be used fr the all sessins. The scratch prcedures listed in the current USA Swimming Rules and Regulatins, Article , sectins D and E nly will be in effect and mdified as fllws: The scratch rule regarding finals will apply t bth heats (final and cnslatin). Use f audi r visual recrding devices, including cell phnes, is nt permitted in changing areas, rest rms r lcker rms. In additin, phtgraphy behind the blcks is nt permitted. Except where venue facilities require therwise, changing int r ut f swimsuits ther than in lcker rms r ther designated areas is nt apprpriate and is prhibited. In accrdance with VSI Plicy, nly thse caches wh have current, valid USA Swimming credentials will be permitted t act in a caching capacity at this meet Caches with valid USA Swimming credentials but are unable t prvide them upn request will be issued temprary credentials by the meet directr Caches with expired r nn-current credentials will be required t leave the deck area.
