Details of the programme are as follows: Class Period 3A, 3B & 3C Every Thursday From 4 January 2018 to 8 February pm 5.15 pm Venue: Jurong West Aquatic Centre 3D, 3E & 3F Every Tuesday From 9 January 2018 to 13 February pm 5.15 pm Venue: Bukit Batok Swimming Complex Your child/ward will be dismissed from school at 5.15 pm pm via Gate 2 after every lesson. Due to safety concerns, we seek your understanding to fetch your child/ward only from school. Further information regarding the rules, regulations and things to bring for the lessons can be found from page 4 to 6 of this letter. If your child/ward has achieved SwimSafer certification, he/she is also encouraged to take up this programme as it is part of the PE curriculum. The instructors at the pool will further assess your child/ward to see if he/she is suitable for the next level of SwimSafer certification. Please complete the acknowledgement form on page 2 and submit it to your child s/ward s form teacher by 10 th November 2017, Friday. If you wish to withdraw your child/ward from the programme, please indicate your withdrawal option clearly in the consent form. 4 JURONG WEST PRIMARY SCHOOL Rules and Regulations Pupils shall adhere to the following rules during swimming lessons: Attire 1. Ensure that PE attire is worn for all lessons. 2. Wear proper swimming attire (one piece swimsuit for girls, swimming trunks/suit for boys) underneath PE attire. 3. Bring all items listed in the checklist on page Bring swimming caps provided by the school for all lessons. 5. Label clothes and personal belongings with name and class. 6. Leave all jewellery and valuables at home. Discipline 1. Report punctually for every lesson. 2. Pupils are required to observe the school rules and maintain discipline at all times. 3. Pupils are required to observe safety rules at the swimming complex. Running, shouting and pushing are not allowed. 4. Pupils are NOT allowed to buy food from the swimming complex. 5. Pupils are NOT allowed to stay back at the pool or go home from the pool after lessons.* *All pupils are strictly required to follow the school bus to and fro the swimming complex. Page 4 of 6
