Follow Fauntleroy to Lincoln Park (on right). Head west to the water through the park to the beach. FACILITY Outdoor, 50 meter, 8-lane competitive pool Starting end 12.5 feet deep; turning end 3.5 feet deep The competition course has been certified in accordance with C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. No warm-up pool available. Warm-up periods may be inserted at the Meet Referee's discretion. 400 spectator seats on deck plus ample space in adjacent park. Colorado timing system; scoreboard w/one-lane readout Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, locker rooms or behind the starting blocks. Deck changes are prohibited. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. ONSITE AMENITIES Vendor: TBD. Heat Sheets: $5.00 Results on PNS web site Concessions: Great concessions! -- adjacent to the pool. Please note that any food truck which may be in park operates independently of this meet. Neither Chinook Aquatic Club or PNS derive any benefit. Hospitality: Refreshments will be available for coaches and

2 officials in the pool office. Swimmers and spectators are not allowed. Parking: Carpooling is highly recommended. The north parking lot is available; watch for signs. Please be courteous and do not disregard signs if parking on Fauntleroy or other residential streets because SPD tickets and tows with no warning. ELIGIBILITY: All swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming or of a FINA member covered under USA Swimming s open border policy included in its Registration Manual. Age groups are based on the age of the swimmer as of the first day of competition. Age groups for competition will be 12&U, and 13&O. All entry times must meet the appropriate qualifying time standards listed below. All entry times will be assumed to be LCM (long course meters) unless otherwise clearly indicated as SCY or SCM. Qualifying Time Standards: With the exception of Bonus events clearly identified as such on all entry reports, all entry times must meet the qualifying time standard and proof of time criteria: o 50M-100M events: Swimmers must have achieved the current PNS Silver time for their age group as of the meet date. o 200M-400M events: Swimmers must have achieved the current PNS Gold time for their age group as of the meet date. o The PNS 12&U times apply to all 12&U swimmers. The PNS 10&U times do not apply to this meet. o The PNS Disability times apply to swimmers with a disability. Please indicate IPC disability class on the meet entry report or in your cover . o Times achieved in compliance with PNS AD may also be used, but must be indicated as such on the meet entry report or in your cover . o Converted times may not be used. USA Swimming athletes eligibility will be verified in the SWIMS database. Unproven times will be scratched without notification, and entry fees will not be refunded. Bonus Events: A swimmer entered in one (1) qualifying event may enter up to two (2) Bonus events the same day, subject to the daily entry limits and proof-of-time standards listed below. Proof of Time: With the exception of times in compliance with PNS AD and clearly identified as such, all entry times, including Bonus Events, must have been achieved in competition sanctioned, approved, or observed by USA Swimming or a FINA member covered under USA Swimming s open border policy included in its Registration Manual. Entry times for all USA Swimming athletes will be verified in the SWIMS database. Unproven times will be scratched without notification, and entry fees will not be refunded. o Converted times may not be used. o NT ( no time ) entries are not allowed. ENTRY INFORMATION: Swimmers may enter up to six (6) events, but no more than three (3) per day. Entries exceeding this limit will be scratched without notification, and entry fees for entry count limitation scratches will not be refunded. Complete whole team entries will be processed in the order received until any session reaches the four-hour limit for 12&U events. On-deck USA Swimming registration will not be permitted. Deck entries for individual events will be allowed in open lanes only at the discretion of the Meet Referee. Deck entry individual swims are not eligible for any awards or team points. Deck entry fees must be paid prior to the swim. Proof of time will be required for all deck entries (Use your Deck Pass app!). Deck entered swimmers who are not already in the meet are required to show proof of USA Swimming or other appropriate athlete registration and complete a PNS Deck Entry Registration at the Clerk of Course in order to enter. All USA Swimming registration numbers will be verified with the PNS registration database. ENTRY FEES: Surcharge: $15.00 Deck entry surcharge: $30.00 (swimmer not previously in meet) Individual Event: $5.00 No refunds or credits will be given for events entered but not swum; no event swapping. All fees must accompany entries. AWARDS AND SCORING: All 12&U events will be awarded and scored as 10&U and 11-12; all 13&O events will be awarded as and 15&O. All events will be awarded and scored as a single age group. Individual events: Ribbons 1st 8th places. Scoring: Individual High Point: Trophies for first place girl and boy in each age group. The award will be based on the results from both days. MEET RULES: Current PNS and USA Swimming rules govern throughout the meet, including warm-ups. All events will be seeded and swum fastest to slowest. The Meet Referee reserves the right to combine events, by age and/or gender. All events will be seeded and swum combined girls and boys and awarded separately. 50M-100M events: All 50M and 100M events will be pre-seeded, with no penalty for a swimmer who fails to show. 200M - 400M events: All 200M and 400M events will be deckseeded, requiring a positive check-in by the announced deadline in

3 order to swim. A swimmer who fails to check in will be scratched without penalty. A swimmer who checks in but fails to swim will be disqualified from his/her next individual event. Swimmers must provide their own timers for all 400 IM and 400 Free events. WARM-UP PROCEDURES: Circle swim counter-clockwise only. Last half hour of each warm-up period: Lanes 1 & 8 pace lanes, no diving, except as noted below. Lanes 2 & 7 sprint lanes, dive starts, return in lanes 3 & 6 Lanes 4 & 5 general warm-up, no diving Lane 8 will be reserved for 8&U swimmers only during Session 1 & Session 3 warm-ups Additional sprint lanes may be made available upon request to the Meet Referee. Warm-up may be modified at the discretion of the Meet Referee to accommodate the number of swimmers entered Pool closes at 8:50 a.m. for morning sessions and five (5) minutes before the afternoon sessions. SAFETY: No diving from the blocks or sides of pool except for designated sprint lanes during designated times in main pool. No diving from the turn end of the pool at any time. Jumping into the pool is not allowed. Backstroke swimmers enter the water feet first in rotation; no diving over persons in the water. Deck Marshals will be assigned to supervise the warm-up. Deck Marshals have the authority to remove any swimmer, coach, or club who does not follow the safety rules during warm-ups or the meet. Coaches are responsible for their team s swimmers throughout the meet, including warm-ups and warm-downs. All participating swimmers must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming or of a FINA-member organization coach included in USA Swimming's "open border" policy. The Meet Referee may assist a swimmer in making supervision arrangements, but it is the swimmer s responsibility to make arrangements prior to the start of warm-ups and to so notify the Meet Referee. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming or FINA-member organization coach included in USA Swimming's "open border" policy coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. area or in public lobbies and are not allowed in the designated racing venue unless timing for an event or volunteering with the management of the meet. In order to be on deck and serve in their official capacity, all coaches, officials and any other person required by sanction to be members of USA Swimming or of a FINA-member organization included in USA Swimming s open border policy shall visibly display their membership credentials at all times. All persons acting in any coaching capacity must be coach members of USA Swimming or of a FINA-member organization included in USA Swimming s open border policy. Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products of any kind, and glass containers are not allowed in the swimming venue. Any act of theft, vandalism or similar action will result in immediate disqualification from the meet and the loss of any points accumulated toward team standings by the individual. Team Areas: Please keep your area clean, and pick up all trash before leaving each session. GSSA member clubs are asked to provide timers and officials. Timing lane assignments for timing will be posted on the PNS web site. OTHER NOTES: In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that PNS and USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event. Only authorized volunteers and working personnel can be in the natatorium. All others must remain in the designated spectator

4 ENTRY SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Entries will open at noon, Wednesday, May 24, Entries will be only be accepted upon receipt of all of the following by the entry deadline, Wednesday, July 5, 2017: 1. Entry File from Team Manager or equivalent. 2. Meet Entry Reports for individual (sorted by swimmer) events from Team Manager or equivalent with Proof of Time information. 3. Meet Entry Fee Report from Team Manager or equivalent. 4. Master Entry Summary Form Completed and hand-signed hardcopy only (original or faxed); typed signatures will not be accepted 5. Meet Entry Fees one check payable to the Chinook Aquatic Club. Meet entry fees should arrive to the meet host three weeks following the confirmation of your team entries or before the meet entry deadline, whichever is earlier. Submittal Formats and Notes: Electronic files: items #1, #2, and #3. Hardcopies: mail or hand-deliver items #4 and #5. If sending via express mail, waive signature requirement. Teams using software other than Hy-Tek s Team Manager are advised that bonus swims may not import into Meet Manager from non-hy-tek products, and the host club cannot be responsible for entry errors due to software incompatibility. Please include a Meet Entry Report with bonus swims clearly circled with your ed entry file. Late, incomplete, or paper entries will not be processed. Recheck all entries as no additional entries or corrections will be accepted after the deadline (except deck entries). Complete whole-team entries will be accepted in the order received until any session reaches the four-hour limit for 12&U events. All entry times will be assumed to be LCM unless otherwise indicated. PNS shall require the club or responsible party to pay an amount equal to the current full-year USA Swimming athlete registration fee, including the PNS surcharge, plus a $15.00 fine for each athlete who is registered from the pre-meet exception report. The fines are due prior to the entry deadline of the next meet entered by the team being fined or within 15 business days after the receipt of the fine statement, whichever occurs first.
