Registration opens 8am Sunday, February 14 and closes 12pm Wednesday, February 18. You may register your child for 1 LAND and/or 1 WATER class per session. (Fee based classes are not included in this limitation.) Cheerleading - This class will teach the beginning skills associated with cheerleading. These little athletes will have fun while extending their knowledge and ability of this dynamic sport. Culinary Arts - Learn to prepare and cook nutritious meals in a fun environment. Gymnastics - Classes provide activities that include an aerobic warm-up and stretching. Children will work on developing motor skills, body

6 awareness, hand-eye coordination, and improve their strength and flexibility. Home School PE Climb - Learn about rock climbing saftey, proper climbing technique, bouldering, and strength training. Youth Arts and Crafts - Create beautiful designs and projects using everyday objects in this hands-on Arts and Crafts class. Y Bakers - Join us as we explore baking through exciting hands-on instruction. Kids will learn the basics of baking from reading recipes, prepping and producing delicious goods. Instructors will also focus on the science behind baking, safety and proper kitchen sanitation. SWIM CLASSES Home School PE Swim - A student-centered learning and exploration experience allows progressive success and an enjoyable experience. The five core components are personal safety, personal growth, stroke development, and water games and sports. PARENT CHILD SWIM CLASSES AGES 6 MONTHS TO 3 YEARS Shrimp - Parents work with their child in this water acclimation class. Skills include climbing in and out of the pool with assistance, blowing bubbles, paddling, and sitting on the pool edge. Kippers - Parents assist their children in acclimating to the water, entering and exiting the pool, float, basic swimming skills, sing songs, and play games. Inia - Children continue to explore the aquatic environment by building on their swimming skills with the help of a parent. Skills include: wall crawl, jumping in, blowing bubbles, and swimming unaided. Perch - This parent-assisted class is for children who are water-adjusted. Skills include jumping from side, eyes in the water, supported kicking on back and front, and moving five feet in the water. Parent Child Combined Swim - Open to all levels of Shrimp, Kippers, Inia and Perch combined. PRESCHOOL SWIM CLASSES AGES 3 TO 5 YEARS Pike - Focuses on water adjustment, floating, and basic swimming and safety skills as children begin independent movement in the water. Skills include: SuperPike - For experienced Pikes. Skills include 10 bobs, treading water for 15 seconds, front and back crawl for 10 feet, introduction to sidestroke, as well as unassisted front and back floating. Eel - Focuses on building confidence in swimming on their front and back without assistance. Skills include front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke for 15 feet. Ray - Works on gaining skills and techniques to improve stroke efficiency. Skills include front crawl, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke for 30 feet, as well as backstroke for 15 feet. Starfish - Children work on swimming one length of front crawl, elementary backstroke, backstroke, and sidestroke, as well as 15 feet of breaststroke. YOUTH SWIM CLASSES AGES 6 TO 12 YEARS Polliwog - Develops skills in water adjustment, floating, kicking, and basic arm strokes. Skills include: bobbing five times, moving comfortably through the water for 15 feet on front and back, and floating unassisted. Guppy - Focuses on deep-water adjustment and endurance. Skills include bobbing 10 times, front crawl and elementary backstroke for 30 feet, floating unassisted and treading water. Minnow - For the intermediate swimmer able to swim one length of the pool front crawl, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke, while continuing to work on treading water for a minimum of 60 seconds. Fish - For children able to comfortably swim two lengths of the pool of front crawl, elementary backstroke, and backstroke. Additional skills include include one length of breaststroke, feet first surface dives, and throwing assists. Flying Fish - Children should be able to swim three lengths of front drawl, backstroke, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke. The butterfly stroke introduced endurance and stroke refinement increased, and competitive swimming practices introduced. Shark - A swim team preparation class. Skills include: three lengths of front crawl, elementary backstroke, backstroke, sidestroke, breaststroke, and one length of butterfly. Flip turns, breaststroke open turns, and junior lifeguarding skills are introduced. TEEN SWIM CLASSES AGES 12 TO 17 YEARS Teen 1 - This beginner class works in small groups to obtain swim skills, safety skills, character development, and team building. Skills include 50 yards/meters of each: elementary backstroke, backstroke, side stroke, and breaststroke. Teen Swim 2 - This intermediate level class works in small groups to improve swim skills, safety skills, character development, and team building. Skills include 50 yards/meters of each: front crawl with side breathing, elementary backstroke, backstroke, and sidestroke; also, 25 yards/meters yards/meters of breaststroke and butterfly.

8 ADULT SWIM CLASSES AGES 18+ Adult 1 (Basic Skills) - For adults who are new to swimming, including those with no swim experience or have a fear of the water, this small class will focus on water safety and simple swimming skills including floating, kicking, bobbing, crawl stroke, and back stroke. Adult 2 (Preparation Skills) - For adults with some swim experience, this class will focus on stroke technique including breaststroke, elementary backstroke, butterfly, and sidestroke. Adult 3 (Advance Skills) - For adults with an advanced focus on water adjustment, body positioning, breathing, stroke development, skill improvement, and endurance. Adult Combo - Combo class combining all skill levels. Adult 1 and Adult 2 levels.
