SWIMMING POOL USE: This calcium hypochlorie produc in able form conains a minimum of 65 available chlorine. I is designed o dissolve slowly (up o 5 hours) and provide a seady source of available chlorine in swimming pools. This produc helps o conrol he growh of algae and effecively kills many baceria, hus helping o keep he pool in a saniary condiion. USE DIRECTIONS: For any applicaion mehod you choose: No one can be in he pool when chemicals are being added direcly o he pool. Do no mix his produc wih oher chemicals, including any oher pool chemicals of any kind, such as oher disinfecion or shock producs. Mixing could cause a fire or explosion. Always add his produc ino large quaniies of waer o fully dissolve. Never add waer ino produc. Make sure o keep he pump and filer running during applicaion and for a leas 6 o 8 hours afer applicaion o allow for he bes produc dispersion. For bes resuls, es your pool waer prior o addiion of his produc and mainain pool waer parameers in he ranges noed below. This produc will raise he ph of pool waer. For bes resuls, es your pool waer prior o addiion of his produc. If your ph measures 7.4 or higher, adjus i downward so ha i is beween 7.2 o 7.4. This will help avoid clouding of waer and allow for faser dispersion of he produc. APPLICATION METHOD: Use chlorinaing ables in a skimmer baske, a floaing dispenser, skimmer dispenser or chlorinaor o dispense ables. Do no hrow he ables direcly ino he pool or allow ables o conac plasic or seel pool linings. HOW TO APPLY TO SWIMMING POOLS: REMINDER: Never add waer o produc. Always add produc o large quaniies of waer o fully dissolve. Mainain operaion of your pump and filer. Treamen should be done a nigh or during a period when he pool is no in use. Opening Pool/Iniial Chlorinaion: Begin operaion of your recirculaion equipmen. Balance he waer by making cerain he pool waer parameers for ph, oal alkaliniy and waer hardness are in heir proper ranges, provided in Table 1. Shock rea he pool. Follow label direcions of he produc used as recommended. Allow 30 minues for he produc o disperse, hen deermine he free chlorine residual using a pool es ki. If no residual is found, superchlorinae again. Repea reamen, as needed, unil he chlorine residual is 1.0 ppm. If a sabilizer is used, check and adjus sabilizer o proper level (10-20 ppm). Do no ener he waer unil he free chlorine residual is 4.0 ppm or less. Wai a leas 4 hours, preferably overnigh; hen vacuum he pool boom. Begin rouine chlorinaion. Rouine Chlorinaion: The ph, oal alkaliniy, waer hardness, and sabilizer concenraion should be mainained a values recommended in Table 1 under Regular Treamen for Pools in Use. Acual dosages of his produc required o mainain he desired free chlorine residual will vary wih sunligh, waer emperaure, bahing load, sabilizer concenraion, waer balance, and oher facors. Use a es ki frequenly o deermine and mainain he proper free chlorine residual. Do no ener he pool unil he free chlorine residual has dropped o 4.0 ppm or less as measured using your es ki. Fill chlorinaor wih Leslie s Swimming Pool Supplies Power Pro Tabs. Adjus flow conrol valve o iniial seing described in he Chlorinaor Insrucion Manual. Adjus able delivery, as needed, o mainain a 1-3 ppm free available chlorine residual. Use a DPD es ki daily o deermine and mainain he proper free chlorine residual. Do no use an OTO es ki. How o Adjus: The Leslie s Swimming Pool Supplies Power Pro Tabs are designed o be dispensed using he Sani-Tower Chlorinaors. To decrease able delivery rae: Reduce waer flow hrough he chlorinaor. To increase able delivery rae: Increase waer flow hrough he chlorinaor. Do no hrow he ables direcly ino he pool or allow ables o conac plasic or seel pool linings. Kis for esing free chlorine, ph, oal alkaliniy, waer hardness, and cyanuric acid concenraion are an inegral par of a proper program for conrolling he qualiy of your pool waer. The kis are inexpensive and available from mos pool chemical dealers. HOW TO DETERMINE THE CAPACITY OF YOUR POOL: Firs: Approximae he average deph in fee by adding he deph a he deep end o he deph a he shallow end and divide he oal by wo. Then: For recangular or square pools: Muliply lengh (f) x widh (f) x average deph (f) x 7.5 = capaciy of pool in gallons. For oval pools: Muliply long axis (f) x shor axis (f) x average deph (f) x 5.9 = capaciy of pool in gallons.
