2 Party Rules/Guidelines: Must be a resident of Bay Village to book a birthday party. Payment in full must be made at the time of registration. One adult required for every 6 children (subject to change at the discretion of the manager) The total head count for the party must include parents, birthday child, siblings, grandparents and anyone else who will be attending including those who possess a BVFAC pool membership. Pool Pass holders scan in/out A roster of participant s names and emergency contact must be submitted 5 days before the party. All parties take place during open swim time, reservation is not for exclusive use of the pool. Outside food or beverages are allowed. No alcohol or glass permitted. Decorations must be within reason (no confetti or silly string). The birthday party can begin set-up 15 mins before specified time. All party participants must move from the seating area at the end of the specified time for cleaning. Wristbands can be picked up upon arrival at the front desk and must be worn by all the attendees for the duration of the pool party. Must adhere to all pool rules. 5 BVFAC Pool Rules: Toddler / Playground Area Guidelines: Only those under 48 permitted in the baby pool water, unless authorized by a manager. Adults (18 & Older) must accompany children in the toddler area. Children in diapers MUST wear Little Swimmers (sold at concession stand) Patrons are not allowed to climb over wall that divides toddler area from main pool General Rules: Children 8 years and under must be accompanied by an individual 14 years or older. No child under the age of 9 may be dropped off at the pool alone!! Children under 48 are permitted to swim in the toddler area or in the main pool with an adult. Only ONE child per adult in the main pool at a time. Children under 48 must pass a swim test in order to swim in the main pool alone. (Wristband required) Proper Swim Attire Required -----SWIM SUITS ONLY!!! Persons with sores, open wounds, rashes or bandages will not be permitted in the pool. Pool closes at 9 p.m. Guards clear the pool nightly at 8:50 p.m. All patrons must leave the premises at 9 p.m. Rest periods occur the first 15 minutes of each hour. No horseplay allowed (No running, dunking, pushing, playing on ropes, snapping towels, throwing others, etc. ) No profanity allowed. This is a family facility. The following devices are prohibited: *Flotation devices (i.e. water wings, inner tubes, bathing suits with built in flotation devices, life jackets) *Glass objects *Snorkels & Masks *Chewing Gum *Footballs, soccer balls, basketballs (objects that are too hard) 10. Flippers & Goggles Permitted. 11. All food and drink is to be kept by concession area. 12. No bags or personal property on deck. Towels only 13. Jumping in off the Side of the Pool: Jump facing forward and straight off the side. Diving Prohibited in the main pool 5

6 No flipping or back dives off the side of the pool 14. Slide Rules: One Person at a time Lay flat on back and go feet first when going on the speed slide FEET FIRST!!! No swimming in the slide area Parents may not catch children. Parents may not go down with the child on lap Swimmers under 48 must take a swim test and wear a wristband to use slide. Swimmers must follow the instructions of guards 15. Diving Board Rules: Swim Test will be done on patrons under 48 or at the Guard s discretion. One bounce on the board One person on the board at a time Jump straight off the end of the board Leave the board from feet only NO INWARD DIVES Must face forward unless doing a back dive or flip Swimmers must take a swim test if staff deems necessary Parents are not allowed to catch child off boards 16. Weather Conditions: Pool will be cleared for 20 minutes (minimum) after hearing the last thunder or seeing the last lightning. Everyone must be in the grass, bath house or concession area. NO EXCEPTIONS! 17. Pool Closes If: Air temperature is below 65 Degrees There is an electrical storm for an extended period of time There are less than twenty patrons in the pool 18. This pool is a non-smoking/alcohol free facility 19. Playground Area ***Age Appropriate and under 48 up to lifeguard s discretion The decision of the staff/manager is final NO EXCEPTIONS! Anyone failing to obey the rules or instructions, either verbal or written, may be ejected from the pool area. 6
