2 Swimming Squad News A message from your Swim Captain 10 sleeps until CaSSSA Cup Swimming!!! As the 2015 swimming season comes to the end, there is still one event to go- The CaSSSA Cup. We ve been training since term 4 last year, rain hail or shine we ve swam through storms, currents at the beach and cyclonic rain, all in the hope of winning the cup. Our coach Billy and his assistant Antonia have structured our trainings to make us work hard to enable us to do the best that we can at this year s CaSSSA Cup. Girls although the cup is only 10 sleeps away, there is no reason for not turning up for trainings. The more you attend, the faster off the blocks you ll be and the faster the times. It s a team event not personal, so come to the trainings work hard and make this year s CaSSSA Cup count. We ve done it before in 2012 and now it is our turn to do it again. This year's CaSSSA Cup is the perfect opportunity for you to set your scene in 2015! All team members MUST have MSM togs for CaSSSA Cup day. SWIM TEAM IMPORTANT DATES The final full team training session is on Sunday 8 th March am at the MSM Aquatic Centre. The swim team / swim selections will be finalised after this session and published on Monday 10 th March. Please bring a plate of morning tea to share with the team. Swim shirts will be handed out on this date. There is limited stock available for late orders. Swim caps will be presented on assembly on Tuesday 12th March. TRAINING It is vital that all team members are attending training on a regular basis a minimum of 3 sessions at College training. Please let Miss Haydock know if you are unable to attend for any reason.

3 Cross Country Training Training for the 2015 Cross Country season has begun. All students are welcome to attend training until the College Carnival on April 1 st when a squad will be selected to train for the CaSSSA Cup Interschool Carnival in late May. Cross Country: Tuesday and Thursday mornings 6.30am to 7.45am starting from the Sophia Centre Fitness group training: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3.15pm to 4.15pm in the Sophia Centre CaSSSA Round 2 Touch, AFL & Volleyball All results & ladders are available one the CaSSSA website Round 3 Wednesday 4 th March VOLLEYBALL TOUCH AFL TRAINING: Monday pm Junior A&B Touch, Open A,B &C and Inter A&B Volleyball, Senior AFL Tuesday pm Junior C&D Touch, Inter C&D Volleyball

All results & ladders are available one the CaSSSA website INTRODUCTORY TENNIS LESSONS - Tennis lessons are available for all levels, beginners to advanced, and are a great way to learn the game or get back into the sport. Lifetime Tennis has an introductory offer for $65 for 4 lessons and a free tennis racquet available to anyone wishing to take up the offer. Lessons are conducted at the College before school.
