1 Leinster Minor Schools Championships 2017 Meet Information and Entry Forms Date: Saturday 7th January 2017 Venue: Events: Tallaght Sports Complex, Balrothery, Tallaght, Dublin 24 50m Backcrawl, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle 100m Individual Medley (11s & 12s only). See Attached Order of Events Swimmers can enter only 2 individual events Relays 10 & under and 11/1x50 Free and Medley Relays Two swimmers may swim up for Relay. At least two swimmers must be swimming in the correct age group for the relay to be accepted. Closing Date: Postal Entries: Friday 18 th November 2016 Entry Fee: 7 per individual event, 20 per relay event All cheques/bank drafts/postal orders made payable to Swim Ireland Leinster Region Entry form must be signed and stamped by the school (individual entry and relay page) Entries to: Post to: Leinster Schools Swimming c/o Swim Ireland, Irish Sports HQ, National Sports Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 All entries must bear the school stamp and include full payment. Entries not including school stamp will not be accepted. Awards: Timing: Check in: Facilities: Enquiries / Information: Qualifications: Medals will be awarded for 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd in each Age Group on a Heat Declared Winner Basis (HDW). The 7, 8 and 9 age groups will be separated for medals. Electronic timing and Hytek Meet manager software will be used Any withdrawals should be made as soon as possible, up to 45 minutes before the start of gala. Parking and Catering will be available at the venue. All entry times will be checked on the National database. Irish Minor Schools Swimming Championships Sunday 12 th February 2017 All swimmers qualifying for this event MUST register at the reception and submit their entry form along with entry fees at this competition. Late entries will not be accepted. Qualifying athletes will be marked on the results sheets posted at the event. Qualification times are noted on the order of events

Entry lists will be posted on the Leinster schools swimming website after December 4 th for checking. Any amendments must be notified to the Leinster schools gala secretary on leinsterschoolsswimming@swimireland.ie ASAP. Please check the website regularly for updates. Please Note Age groups are 7 9, 10, 11 and 12. Ages are calculated based on the swimmers age on 31 st August 2017 in line with the current school year. Age 7-9: Born 1 st September 2007 and younger 10: Born 1 st September st August : Born 1 st September st August : Born 1 st September st August 2005 All entries to Irish Minor Schools must be made on the day of the event.
