2 From the Competition Director World of WearableArt s relationship with Donghua University began in 2010 and, over the years, has become a highly valued education partnership. Each year, the World of WearableArt Awards attracts entries from more than 40 countries. Donghua University is always well represented in both the number of entries and standard of work being produced by the students. To date, a total of 47 finalist garments from Donghua University have appeared on the WOW Awards Show stage and 27 Awards have been won by Donghua University students. A particularly memorable moment was when students, Yuru Ma and Mengyue Wu, made WOW Awards Show history in 2012 winning both the Supreme WOW Award and Runner-up to Supreme WOW Award. An incredible achievement! Offering this platform which develops and extends the abilities of the students and provides them with a unique opportunity to showcase their design skills and creativity through the World of WearableArt Awards Show is something we are very proud of. In this, our 30th Anniversary Show year, we wish to recognise and celebrate our special relationship with Donghua University. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the enthusiasm and support of Professor Zhou Honglei. We look forward to continuing to work with Donghua University for many years to come.
