4 Tournament Rules Composition of Teams Format: 4 players in each gender to take part in Singles, Triples and Fours. Except for Singles, teams with reserve player can change its players within the team after each match. Singles, Triples and Fours for both men and ladies categories. Single round robin match in 2 sets of 9 ends for Singles, 2 sets of 8 ends with 2 bowls for each player in Triples and 2 sets of 6 ends with 2 bowls for each player in Fours, with time limit of 1 hour 45 minutes. No jack to be delivered after the bell is rang.

5 Tournament Rules Award of Game Points for Round Robin Match 2 game points will be awarded to a team who wins a set and one point to each team if a tie set occurs. In addition, 4 game points will be awarded to the team with the higher overall aggregate (shots) scored in a match or 2 game points to each team in the case of a tie on overall aggregate shots. A maximum of 8 game points will be awarded for a match.

6 Tournament Rules Match Rules WB Laws of the Sport of Lawn Bowls, Crystal Mark 3 rd Edition will be adopted. All bowls used for competition must bear a valid World Bowls Stamp of expiry date from 2015 onwards. No burnt ends. The jack should be replaced on the T-spot (on centre line which is 2 metres from the front ditch) or centre line nearest to the T-spot where it is covered by the head. Trial end with 2 bowls in each direction of the green will be allowed before the first game of the day.

7 Tournament Rules Match Rules Winner of the first set to deliver the jack for first end of second set. If it is a tie for the first set, winner of the last winning end of the first set to deliver the jack. For Singles, players can visit the head after delivery of their 3 rd bowl. For Triples and Fours, only the skip can visit the head after their delivery of their 1 st bowls. In any discipline, teams arriving with less than the required number of players for the game at the scheduled time shall forfeit 8 game points and 9 shots to its opponent and minus 9 shots from its total shots.

8 Tournament Rules Ranking in each discipline. On completion of the round robin matches, the ranking of in each discipline is determined in sequence by the best of i. the total game points scored in the round robin matches; ii. the highest shots difference if the total game points is equal; iii. the highest number of ends won if equal in total game points and a tie on shots difference occurs; iv. the winner of the match between the competitors if the same total number of ends won in this stage; v. the toss of a coin decides the ranking if still undecided.

9 Tournament Rules Ranking for the Teams Points are scored by the ranking in each discipline as following: 1 st 5 ranking points 2 nd 3 ranking points 3 rd 2 ranking points 4 th 1 ranking point Ranking points scored in each discipline will be added to as the Aggregated Score for the Teams.

10 Tournament Rules Ranking for the Teams The Ranking for the Teams is determined in sequence by the best of : i. the Aggregated Score for the teams; ii. the highest number of Ranking First in each discipline if the Aggregated Score ties; iii. the highest number of Ranking Second in each discipline if the Aggregated Score and Ranking First ties; iv. the highest sum of total game points scored in the round robin matches for all the disciplines; v. the highest sum of shots difference in the round robin matches for all the disciplines if the sum of total game points is equal.
