3 RULES & REGULATIONS 1. Only registered players of the TTFI for the year 2018 can participate in the Championships. 2. All the matches will be played in accordance with the rules and regulations for Regional Championship as adopted by TTFI. 3. The Youth Boys & Girls event shall be open only to those players who are born on or after The Junior Boys and Girls event shall be open only to those players who are born on or after The Sub-Junior Boys and Girls event shall be open only to those players who are born on or after The Boys and Girls event shall be open only to those players who are born on or after For evidence of age, players should bring Original Date of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation/school so that it could be verified, if required to do so. 8. All players will have to make their own arrangement for Lodging. 9. The decision of Tournament Committee shall be final in all matters connected with the Championships. 10. The Tentative Schedule will be as follows: Day 1 5 th Oct Men/Women/Qualifications Day 2 6 th Oct Men/Women /Youth Qualifications Day 3 7 th Oct Men/Women R/128/64/32,Youth Main Draw, Jr Qlfn Day 4 8 th Oct Men/Women R/16/QF/Youth Main Draw/Jr Main draw Day 5 9 th Oct Men/Women SF/F Youth SF/F Jr Maindraw, Sub Jr Qlfn Day 6 10 th Oct Jr SF/F Sub Jr Main Draw, Qlfn/Main Drw Day 7 11 th Oct Sub Jr/ Main Draw.Final (Please note that this is only a tentative schedule and CM has the final authority to change the schedule based on the final entries in consultation with OC) 11. Entries close at 12 Noon on 19 th September for Institutions and at 12 Noon on 21 st September, for the State Associations

4 12. The draw for seeded players shall take place on 3 rd October at 18:00 Hrs at Venue. 13. The maximum number of entries which an affiliated unit is as per the TTFI Guidelines. The winner/runner up in the last nationals of the respective events : 12 entries, the third placed Teams 10 entries, The teams placed 5 th 9 entries and Rest of the associations 8 entries for all events. Please note that the first 5 entries of Men and Women, and First 4 entries for the rest of the events will be with normal entry fee and the balance entries with extra entry fees 14. STAG Tables and STAG balls will be used for the Championships 15. All official Communication/Draw shall be displayed at the venue on 4 th October and that alone shall be the official communication in all respects. This Championship will be treated as Ranking Tournament and Points shall be awarded as per TTFI guidelines. 16. On Line Entries: Entries have to be submitted on line in our web site ttfi.org on the event page. Each State Association/Institution has already been provided with a Username and Password, which may be used to log in to the Online Entry System No entries will be accepted through mail or any other communication. No entries can be permitted after the deadline. 17. With regard to any clarification regarding online entries, States/Institutions may kindly contact our Competition Manager on his mail id: ganeshaniob@gmail.com or to Federation office at: ttfi@ttfi.org 18. All the participant players should have registered with TTFI. Entries of unregistered players will not be accepted. Players should pay a registration fee of Rs 500/- towards registration fee for the year This may be paid alongwith the entry fees in the first tournament they play in the calendar year or pay in cash at the venue. The Registration forms along with Cash should be submitted to the Competition Manager/Referee at the Venue. All, Sub-Junior, Junior, Youth category players should submit their Date of Birth Certificates and keep originals in possession for verification. 19. Transfer of players from one state to another is allowed only before the start of the season. Once registered with a particular State, the players will not be given any transfer during the Season 20. The entry fee will be as follows First four entries in s and Sub-Junior First five entries in Men, Women and first four entries in Youth and Juniors : Rs. 600/- each : Rs. 700/- each 20. State Associations are allowed to enter extra entries as per clause 13 above. The entry fee for extra entries is Rs. 3500/- for Seniors,Youth and Junior per player & Rs. 2500/- for Sub-Junior and 21. Payment of Entry Fees: on 21 st September, after closure of entries, Federation office will raise an invoice to the respective associations/institutions with regard to the payment of entry fees for all the players participating from the respective State Associations/Institutions. On receipt of the invoice the respective state Association/Institutions may transfer the amount by NEFT to the account of the organizers, which is furnished below. No entry fee may be send to TTFI office. 22. SPORT CANCELLATION/CHANGE IN NOMINATIONS Cancellation of participation is possible till 12:00 Noon of 3 rd October. After this deadline, the penalty policy will apply and no changes will be accepted on players entries and such players will be deducted with 20 points from the ranking. In case cancellation is not possible through the online system, due to some reasons, the same may be intimated to the Competition Manager before the deadline

INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS By entering the event, players agree to abide by all TTFI rules and by the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee. All entered associations and individual players agree to be under the auspices of the TTFI and its agents in all matters concerning television coverage, video, internet, webcasting, motion picture coverage, and photographic coverage of any kind. Participants release all rights or rights held by their agents or sponsors, in all matters relating to television and webcasting coverage, video and motion picture coverage and photographic coverage of any kind. A participant s refusal of above listed coverage may attract suspension or dismissal from the competition. 25. PLAYING SYSTEM As per the decision of the AGM.. Men top 16 Players and for the rest of the events top 8 Players (except events) will be directly drawn to the Main Draw. The rest of the player will be divided into groups of 3 or 4. In Men and Women, from the Groups two players qualify to the Main Draw and for the rest of the events one player qualify from the Groups to the Main Draw. In Men and Women the Winner and Runner up in the Groups will be drawn in different halves.. The open draw of the seeds will be held at 18:00 Hrs on 3 rd October, at the Venue. The draw will be done by the Referee under the supervision of the Competition Manager/Technical Committee. 26. PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES Athletes are expected to attend the following promotional activities: - Opening Ceremony - Media interviews - Award Ceremonies (in full tracksuit and sport shoes) Failure to participate in promotional activities may result in loss of prize money and medals or both.
