2 Centercourt Junior Development Tennis Looking for a high quality tennis program committed to helping your player learn tennis or help your athlete reach a high level of play? Centercourt is the place for you. Centercourt Tennis offers a wide range of high quality Junior Tennis Programs which provide players with a solid technical tennis foundation that is complemented with an athletic-skills training component. We offer free player evaluations to determine which of our programs offers the best fit for your player. We offer tennis programs for the beginner to the high performance, nationally ranked player. Our Centercourt Player Achievement Pathway includes a variety of red, orange, green and yellow ball programs for players of all ages and ability levels. Our structured teaching parameters, training progressions and learning environment assist players in improving their tennis and athletic skills quicker than traditional training methods. 3 Centercourt I & II Programs Red Low Compression Balls on 36 foot Courts Centercourt I The Centercourt I Tennis Program develops your player s fundamental tennis skills: agility, balance, movement, sending, receiving, and gross motor skills in a relaxed environment with fun skill-building activities. Parents receive Online Player Progression Reports from Lead Program Coach. EQUIPMENT: 17 or 19 inch racquet. Stop by our Tennis Pro Shop for a proper racquet fitting for your player. 4 Red Ball Edge Program Red Low Compression Balls and 36 foot Court Moving towards Orange Balls and 60 foot Court Red Ball Edge Program develops your player s technical, tactical and competitive tennis skills. Coaches utilize live ball play in the training. For entry into this program: By invitation or by a personal evaluation. Contact Ari Zuckerman at info@centercourtclub.com or call for a player evaluation. Player should have good shot consistency and is able to direct serve, groundstrokes and volleys. Players with this solid tennis skill base, high energy, a love of the game, and a high level of commitment to train and compete are ideal for this program. Players in the Red Ball Edge program are expected to compete in the Centercourt Box League matches and/or the Red Ball Junior Tennis Team. Coaches run fun/competitive games to develop your player s strong foundation of tennis fundamentals. Parents receive Online Player Progression Reports from Lead Program Coach. Centercourt IV The Centercourt IV Tennis Program provides advanced technical and tactical guidance to develop your player s all-court game. The program s focus is on players use of proper shot techniques and court coverage skills. Players increase their rallying, volley, serve and point playing skills while improving athleticism and shot consistency. Parents receive Online Player Progression Reports from Lead Program Coach. 6 Orange Ball Edge Program Orange Balls and 60 foot Court The Orange Ball Edge Program develops your player s stroke technique, tactical strategy, decision making, athletic skill development and court coverage skills. Players skills are built with a combination of technical drills followed by rallying and point play drills that reinforce the training. Players learn how to build points and become successful competitors. The player who has good focus, high energy, passion for the game and a high level of commitment to train and compete is ideal for this program. Players in the Orange Ball Edge program are required to play in at least 2 training days/week & 1 USTA Orange Ball Tournament per session. Players in the Orange Ball Edge program are expected to compete in the Centercourt Box League matches, Junior Team Tennis, and USTA Orange Ball Tournaments. Parents receive Online Player Progression Reports from Lead Program Coach. EQUIPMENT: 25 inch graphite racquet. 7 Junior Athlete Zone Program Red Ball Edge and Orange Ball Edge Athletes The Junior Athlete Zone [JAZ] program focuses on: Agility and Speed Athletes learn the fundamentals of footwork and speed using cone drills, speed ladders and low hurdles. Strength, Balance and Body Awareness Athletes use the Centercourt rock wall to gain upper body strength and improve total body coordination. Additionally, athletes train using a series of body weight strength motions and balance work using equipment such as hexagon rollers, cheese mats and balance beams. Centercourt I, II, III, and IV may add an additional 30 minute athletic training is available at a per diem rate of $8 for members/$10 for seasonal members/$12 for non-members and can be paid daily or per session. You may participate on the same day as your clinic or an additional day as offered below: Monday - Friday Saturday 4:00-4:30om 12:30-1:00pm 4:30-5:00pm 1:00-1:30pm 5:00-5:30pm 1:30-2:00pm 2:30-3:00pm

9 Green Ball & Green Ball Edge Green Low Compression Balls and 78 foot Court Green Ball Tennis Program The Green Ball Tennis program emphasizes the fundamental techniques for a player first coming into the 78 green ball court. Focus is placed on proper technique and learning basic footwork patterns. Players increase their rallying and learn to differentiate tactics between singles and doubles. We prepare players for competition and encourage them to play in our Box Leagues or Junior Team Tennis. Parents receive Online Player Progression Reports from Lead Program Coach. EQUIPMENT: racquet. 10 Centercourt Advantage Full Compression Yellow Balls on 78 foot Courts The Centercourt Advantage Program is for your 12 & older player who wants to improve their tennis and competitive skills. The program focuses on technical, tactical and strategic tennis skills in addition to developing movement and athletic skills. The program uses live ball training and competitive play drills to improve singles and doubles match play. The Centercourt Advantage player aspires to play middle, high school and/or USTA tournament tennis. To help your player improve quickly we recommend training multiple times a week. The training can vary from our group sessions, private lessons or match play. We offer Box Leagues, Junior Team Tennis, UTR League matches and USTA tournaments on the weekends. 11 High School Advantage The High School Advantage Program is designed to prepare players to compete at the high school varsity and junior varsity levels. These players may also choose to compete in tournaments as a part of their developmental pathway. Players will develop solid technique and strategies for singles and doubles competition. Players will improve their varied serves (flat, topspin, and slice), point construction, mental toughness, weapon development, doubles point development, and doubles communication. Players should be in high school or a rising freshman. Players are encouraged to participate in the Centercourt UTR League on the weekends to prepare for their tennis season.
