2 KEY TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS 1. This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Victoria (TV) and approved by Tennis Seniors Victoria (TSV) and shall be conducted in accordance with TSV Regulations & Guidelines for the conduct of Seniors Round Robin Tournaments, Tennis Australia s Member Protection By-Law and Tennis Australia s Code of Behaviour. 2. The Tournament Committee, hereinafter referred to as the Committee, shall have the entire control and management of the Tournament. Any matter not specifically covered by these conditions shall be resolved by the Committee, whose decision shall be final. 3. All Victorian resident tournament players MUST be financial members of Tennis Seniors Vic. (TSV $20.00) and must provide their MYTENNIS Player ID if requested. Players from other states/countries who are NOT full members of a recognised Seniors Club/Association, MUST pay a temporary membership fee of $10.00 for this tournament ONLY. 4. Players may enter one event ONLY from each session. A player entering in a doubles event without naming a partner shall accept the partner allocated by the Committee. However, this does not impose an obligation on the Committee to find a partner. 5. ENTRY FEES: Singles $28.00: Doubles: $24.00 (GST inclusive) per player. 6. ATTIRE: Correct tennis attire must be worn during all matches. 7. Entries Close 28th March Cheques payable to TSV. This tournament is open to all players who are 35 years and over as at 31st December All players must submit a separate entry form by mail or on-line accompanied by entry fees and a signed Player Declaration (on Entry Form). No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by entry fees. NO LATE OR PHONE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. 9. It is each player s responsibility to check the draw and the playing venue the draw will be available from 5.00pm 3rd April 2019 check the Website or call the Tournament Office. Players must be at the courts at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of play. 10. Four or more entries must be received in an event to guarantee the running of that event, otherwise age groups may be combined. The Committee reserves the right to cancel an event, combine events or divide into divisions. Runner-up prizes are subject to a minimum of 4 entries. If sufficient nominations are received A & B grade divisions will be conducted. 11. Winners Formula: SETS WON, if equal games won, if equal, games against, if equal winner when the player/pairs played each other. 12. Tie-Break Rule. The Seniors tie-break rule will be used during this tournament, play one point and change ends and then change after every four points. 13. Play must commence on time. One 3 minute warm-up allowed per player per session. Morning sessions commence 8.30am and afternoon sessions commence at 1.30pm except for Friday when play will commence at 2.00pm. No morning matches/ finals to commence after 1.00pm. Any morning matches/finals not completed will be played at completion of the afternoon matches on the same day and under lights if necessary. 14. Dunlop balls will be used exclusively for the tournament. 15. Refunds (less a $4.00 administration fee) will be made when rain prevents commencement of an event - withdrawals require at least 72 hours notice before a refund will be given (less a $4.00 administration fee). No refunds will be given after the draw has been made. 16. By entering the Tournament, a player automatically grants TV, TSV the right in perpetuity to make, use and show pictures of him/her, motion or still, taken during the competition without compensation.
