3 Racket Rentals The Racket Sports Cabin has top-of-the-line performance and recreational rackets for juniors and adults that are available for demo and purchase. All Riverside Members may demo tennis rackets for free. Riverside Country Club offers a wide variety of opportunities for the racket enthusiast. 6 Outdoor Tennis Courts (4 Resurfaced in 2015) 2 Platform Tennis Courts 2 Pickle Ball Courts Full Service Pro Shop Covered Outdoor Pavilion Ball Machine We have a new ball machine available for use for Free to all Golf and Social Athletic Members! Please contact the Racket Sports Cabin for reservations. Court Fees & Reservations Use of the tennis courts are free to all Golf and Social Athletic Members. Guests must be accompanied by a member and may play 3 times each season. The Guest Fee is $10.00/day. Courts may be reserved for up to 1.5 hours by contacting the Racket Sports Cabin or you may go online to and follow the prompts under the Tennis tab. Playdays Each week we have one time slot set aside for different NTRP levels of men and women. We send out a weekly and arrange matches for players interested. If you would like to be included on this list, please let us know. 3 4

4 Playdays Looking for tennis games this summer? Want to get out and use your membership? Looking to meet some new members? We have weekly group play beginning the week of June 19th. We have time slots for play each week at various NTRP levels (see below). Leagues will run for 10 weeks. Depending on the number of players, there will be weeks where you will not have to play. Schedules will be available so you will know which weeks you play and have off. If you cannot commit to the league and would rather be a substitute, please let us know. We will be accepting the first 4 players who sign up. Deadline for signups is June 12th. Ladies 3.5 Level Ladies 4.0 Level & Adult Events Programs Tuesday 8am & Friday 9:30am Monday 10am & Thursday 11am Men s Night Every Tuesday beginning June 13th Singles and Doubles Enjoy a cold beverage and snacks. All levels welcome! Tuesday 6-7:30pm $5.00 Includes balls, snacks and beverages! Ladies Open Clinic Beginning June 12th Come out for 45 minutes of instruction and drills followed by supervised round robin doubles play. 2 Pros/All levels. 3.0 Level: Monday 9-10:30am 3.5 Level: Thursday 11:00-12:30pm 4.0 Level: Wednesday 9:00-10:30am $10.00 Includes clinic, balls and play! Wine Down Wednesdays Beginning June 14th from 6-7:30pm Ladies, come out for a 1/2 hour mini clinic followed by supervised round robin play. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer to finish off the day! Wednesday 6-7:30pm $10.00 Includes clinic, balls, snacks and wine! Classic White Party - JUNE 3RD Players wear all white and play with wooden rackets. A pickleball event will also help kick off the summer season. There will be a Live DJ and a complimentary BBQ complete with beer and wine. 3:00-6:00pm FREE Riverside Classic - JUNE 30TH - JULY 2ND USTA sanctioned tournament for men and women. Open and NTRP divisions available in singles, doubles, and mixed. Stars & Stripes Showdown - JULY 4TH Compass draw format. All teams guaranteed at least 3 matches, 2 divisions, mens/womens/mixed teams all invited! Member Guest Doubles -AUGUST 12TH Members play with a guest. Special no-ad scoring system. Labor Day Scramble - SEPTEMBER 4TH Tencap handicap scoring system with men, women and juniors. There will be burgers, brats, prizes and tons of fun for the family! Ladies 3.0 Level Tuesday 8am & Friday 9:30am Friday Night Mix & Match Mens 3.5 Level Wednesday 11am & Thursday 6pm Come out and enjoy an evening of good food, cold drinks and hot action on the courts! Men, women, couples,... round robin play...changing partners with fun formats. Grizzled & Grey - SEPTEMBER 16TH & 17TH Cost: FREE Fridays 6-8pm Unsanctioned singles and doubles event with age divisions for 35, May 26, June 16, July 14, August 5 & September 1 45 and 55. 5 JuniorEvents & Programs Kid s Club Summer Open House - MAY 13TH Riverside Clubhouse 12:00-3:00pm Riverside Junior Classic - JUNE 24TH-25TH USTA tournament. Boys and girls singles. Non-elimination formats. Non-sanctioned 10 & under event on Friday evening. JUNIOR SESSION I - June 19th - July 13th JUNIOR SESSION II - July 24th - August 17th Little Sluggers ( Ages 10 & Under) Quickstart tennis program using a shorter court, smaller rackets and softer balls. The focus of this level is to emphasize motor skills, body awareness, hand/eye coordination and basic ball and racket skills. Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10-10:45am Daily Rate: $10.00 / Session(8x): $56.00 Stars (Beginners) The focus of this level will be on forehands, backhands, serves, volleys and overheads along with basic grips and footwork fundamentals. Mondays & Wednesdays from 11-12pm Daily Rate: $13.00 / Session(8x): $80.00 Saturday Playday - MAY 27, JUNE 17, JULY 15, AUG. 5 & SEPT. 2 10:00-12:00pm Pizza & Prize Drawings Non-sanctioned single play for boys and girls 2 Divisions: 10 & under - short court and orange ball 14 & under -full court and green dot ball Rippers (Intermediate) These players can rally consistently with some directional intent. They can hit all the basic shots listed above. Some of the topics covered at this level will be return of serve, approach shots, footwork patterns, shot combinations and playing situations. Each clinic is 1 hour of instruction and drills followed by a 1/2 hour of supervised play. Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2-3:30pm Daily Rate: $17.00 / Session(8x): $ Davis Cup (Tournament Players) These players are tournament-ready and should be able to execute all of the above skills. The focus of this level will be on patterned drills, conditioning, fitness and match play situations. This group will meet in the afternoon. Please contact Dave for availability and cost. 7 8

Players wear classic whites! Food, refreshments, balls & prizes all provided! FREE to all members! Riverside Open - AUGUST 17TH Open to members and non-members Men s, Ladies & Mixed Divisions Food, refreshments and prizes to the Top 2 in each division. We have two pickleball courts for members to enjoy one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Paddles and balls are available at the Racket Sports Cabin and are free to all Riverside Country Club Members! Friday Morning Drills - 9:00am Clinic Every Friday $10 OPEN PLAY Show up and play with your fellow members in a rotating partner format! Begins the week of June 12th. Make sure to get on the list by contacting the Racket Sports Cabin. Mondays Fridays 3:00pm - Rookies 4:00pm - Veterans 10:00am Try the Triple Play!
