8 CONDITIONS 1. Each player is responsible to be aware of and to observe these conditions. 2. The Tournament Committee shall have the entire management of the Tournament and the decision of the Tournament Committee shall be final. 3. The Tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of NSW except where altered by these conditions. 4. All Players must be registered members of Tennis NSW or an Association affiliated with Tennis Australia. Players not so registered must sign the agreement at the foot of the entry form and pay the prescribed affiliation fee. 5. An entry form must be completed for and signed by each player or parent/guardian in the case of minors and submitted with fees by mail or as shown on the Entry Form. 6. Partners named on an entry form may be excluded if capacity is reached and they have not submitted an entry form. The entered PLAYER will be offered an alternative partner or withdrawn depending on the entry level. 7. Entries may be closed before the stated closing date if the Tournament capacity has been reached beforehand. 8. Gradings must be accurately declared. The Committee reserves the right to exclude any player from SPECIAL events and to allocate players to grades other than those entered. Note 1) Seeds in the top half of Open Singles Events are normally excluded from SPECIAL events. 2) Winners of an event below SPECIAL must play the next higher grade in that event in the following year. 9. Matches may be scheduled for night play and away from the main centre, if necessary. 10. No player is to enter more than three events in a range of two grades. Players must play with the same partner in doubles. 11. Players must be available at the prescribed commencing time, 8am daily, for the entire three days of play, unless an exemption is granted by the Committee. 12. Players must report to Tournament Control 30 minutes before starting times, irrespective of weather, on completion of matches and before leaving complex. 13. A player failing to appear when called for a match may be disqualified and forfeit the entry fee. 14. Open events shall be 3 tie break sets. In Other events, rounds are first to 9 games; tie break at 8 all. Finals will be 2 tie break sets with a match deciding tie break (10pt) played at 1 set all. These conditions may be changed for matches which have not commenced if significant playing delays occur. 15. Hit up time must not exceed 5 minutes. 16. Scores must be reported and balls returned to Control by the winner, without delay. 17. If the Tournament does not commence due to inclement weather entry fees less 10% administration charge will be refunded upon request by 30th June, to the Committee. 18. Open events will be given preference if the tournament is interrupted by inclement weather. 19. The Committee reserves the right to cancel, divide or combine any event; to alter prizemoney; to postpone events to such time and date considered suitable or to abandon events. 20. In all cases of delay the status of the match at the time of cessation, the court number, serving side and service end must be recorded on the score card and initialled by at least one player for each side. The score and court occupancy will hold good unless otherwise ruled by the Committee. 21. ALCOHOL is not permitted on the court. 22. Tennis Australia and ITF RULES AND POLICIES: You acknowledge that, as a participant in this event, you are required to comply with various rules and policies. You agree to comply with and confirm that you understand the following: Tennis Australia Anti-Doping Policy Disciplinary Statement: You acknowledge that as a participant in a Tennis Australia/Tennis NSW sanctioned event you agree to comply with the ITF Rules of Play, the Tennis Australia Events Disciplinary Policy (including its reference to spectator behaviour and interference), the Tennis Australia Member Protection By-Law and the Tennis Australia Anti Doping Policy. Spectator Behaviour Statement: Inappropriate spectator behaviour could result in denial of entry at future Tennis Australia or Member Association sanctioned events and will be dealt with in accordance with these policies. This includes, but is not limited to, tennis venues, hotel and transport vehicles. Media Statement: You consent to being involved in any publicity connected with Tennis Australia Sanctioned Tournaments, including media interviews, photographs and TV footage. (Inform the organiser if you do not wish to participate in such media activity). Data Usage Storage: You consent to Tennis Australia and/or the organisers of Tennis Australia sanctioned tournaments, to use the details provided on the entry from to communicate information about this and future tournaments, via post/ or SMS.
