2 Why rand Slam Tennis Camps by Active Away? rand Slam Tennis Camps are no ordinary tennis camps, we use current professional tennis players to host and lead our tennis programme. Head Coach at the tennis camps in 2018 is Marcus Willis a former top 300 ATP player, who recently played Roger Federer on Centre Court at Wimbledon in 2016, and Jocelyn Rae who won old at the 2010 Commonwealth games, was a 2017 Wimbledon Quarter Finalist and represented reat Britain in the Fed Cup. 3 Our Magnificant Venue... New Hall School, Chelmsford Our 2018 rand Slam Junior Tennis Camp is being held at Henry V111 s former Tudor Palace - New Hall School in Chelmsford, only 30 minutes from London. Chelmsford is officially the UK s hottest spot! Summers in Chelmsford have hit the heights of 35 O C, so you can be sure of a fun filled summer tennis camp. From the moment rand Slam Camp players first travel up the mile-long, tree-lined avenue that leads to the grand façade of the former Tudor palace, they will be made to feel welcome and excited. The outstanding facilities on offer within the stunning 85-acre campus will cater for a camper s every need. The modern and well equipped boarding houses have been carefully designed to be a home from home. All based on the stunning campus, each player will have their very own single room as we believe it s important for children to have their own personal space, and this adds to the tennis camp experience.

4 We are more than just the tennis. From a zoo visit, to a disco on ice, your child will love the experience we offer. A trip to the Zoo! 20 miles from New Hall is Colchester zoo, which is one of Europe s finest zoos with over 260 rare species. Ice Skating Disco On the final evening we go to the nearby Riverside Ice Centre for a fun disco on ice. Film Night rand Slam Tennis Camps have exclusive use of the school s indoor theatre, where we will be playing a variety of films on one of the evenings. BBQ Evening Towards the start of the week children and staff have a classic English summer BBQ; freshly cooked food eaten outside together. Outdoor ames Various outdoor activities held in the 85-acre campus of New Hall School.

Camps are open to both boys and girls and you must be aged between 8-21.

Facilities available include: common areas in each house with TV, DVD, computers (for work and play) and a piano, sports hall, swimming pool, athletics track, tennis and netball courts, fitness suite, floodlit AstroTurf pitch, ICT suite, Eaton Theatre, The Library, and not forgetting the beautiful gardens and grounds. Food... At New Hall School, there is on offer a wide choice between hot and cold food, with plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and salads. Proposed menus are reviewed by Nutritionist, Dr Juliet ray RD RPH. English Language Programme for International students... We pride ourselves on the quality of our English Teachers.
