2 The Coaching Team HEAD COACH: Tom Aydon Available for coaching: Monday to Saturday Tom oversees all aspects of coaching at TWLTC. He works with players of all ages and abilities. Cost for 1:1 lesson 27 per hour. Mobile: Office: Charlie Gibson Available for coaching: Monday, Wednesday to Sunday Charlie is the newest member of the team, full of enthusiasm and new ideas. He works with players of all ages and abilities. Cost for 1:1 lesson 25 per hour Mobile: Darren Bradley Available for coaching: Monday to Thursday, Saturday & Sunday. Darren brings experience from his coaching at many tennis centres across the UK. He works mainly with teenage and adult players of all abilities. Cost for 1:1 lesson 25 per hour Mobile: Brad King Available for coaching: Monday & Tuesday. Thursday & Friday mornings only. Brad s friendly personality and sense of humour makes him a very popular coach. He works with all ages and abilities but works mainly with adults. Cost for 1:1 lesson 25 per hour Mobile: Lucy Van Doren Available for coaching: Monday to Sunday Lucy s patient and calm manner make her a great asset to the team. She works with all abilities at mini tennis and beginner adults. To book for a term of coaching, multiply your weekly amount by the number of weeks in the term (see programme dates for number of weeks.) 4 Adult Coaching Timetable 2014 From April 2014 all the adult coaching will be on a pay n play basis. This means players have the flexibility to attend only the sessions they wish without having to commit to a whole term. No booking needed, just turn up and pay n play. Some sessions are open to members of TWLTC only. 5 Programme Dates 2014 Spring Term: Week Commencing: Monday 6 th January Until week commencing: Monday 17 th March 10 Week Course followed by 2 spare weeks. (Used if bad weather during term). NO TENNIS: Half term: 17 th February 23 rd February. Summer Term: Week Commencing: Monday 21 st April Until week commencing: Monday 7 th July. 11 Week Course followed by 1 spare week. (Used if bad weather during term). NO TENNIS: Half Term: 26 th May 1 st June. *No Monday tennis lessons on bank holidays. Monday term still 11 weeks but ends on 21 st July with no spare week. Winter Term: Week Commencing: Monday 8 th September Until week commencing: Monday 1 st December 12 Week Course NO TENNIS: Half Term: 27 th October 2 nd November

6 MORE INFORMATION Classes and Holiday camps are open to members and non-members of Twltc. Members of TWLTC receive discounted coaching in term time groups and holiday groups. To find out the benefits of becoming a member, please speak to Tom on All classes are to be paid for in advance to protect your place except the pay n plays. Places cannot be held open if payment has not been made before the commencement of the first week of each class. Discounted booking available between term dates for those on previous term classes. There are waiting lists in use for more popular times. See programme dates for length of each term. Please note that there is no tennis on bank holidays so term lengths do vary. We operate all the junior classes via the LTA sanctioned mini tennis programme and therefore all our junior players will be grouped according to their birth years to the level of ball they should be using. (Please ask a coach if you are unsure of these details.) All payments to: Coaching@TWLTC. Spare weeks are always set aside in the event of bad weather during all terms. We are an outdoor club and therefore cannot control the weather, but we will play in light to moderate rain. Our policy is that Unless you hear from us assume your class is on. Therefore it is imperative we have your and mobile number when booking up. If you do not hear from us, then please assume the class will run. If you do not turn up, you will not qualify for a spare week that week. There are no refunds if all spare weeks have been used and there is still a shortfall. All club coaches have been CRB checked and hold First Aid certificates. All coaches have LTA or PTR Public liability insurance and are all certified. Private lessons are available on request. Please arrange directly with each particular coach, these are available for members and non-members of TWLTC. Coach availability and prices are found in this brochure along with contact numbers. Evening private lessons will be subject to an additional 2.50 per half hour floodlight cost. The coach will supply tokens and the cost will be added to the lesson price at the end of the session. There is a 2 hour cancellation or no show policy in place for private lessons. Please always ring the coach if you cannot make it otherwise you will be charged the full fee. Please visit our website
