1 May 21, 2018 PM Modi departs for Russia Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 21 st May morning left for Russia's Sochi for an informal summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The informal summit between the two leaders, which, has a broad-based agenda on global and regional issues, is expected to see the discussions on global terrorism situation in Afghanistan-Pakistan, Syria, Islamic State (IS). Indian envoy to Russia Pankaj Saran on Sunday exclusively told ANI that the two leaders will discuss mutual cooperation to improve each other's economy and influence in the international sphere. The special unit has been numbered as 241 and named as 'Bastariya Battalion', as all the candidates are selected from four highly Naxal infested district in Chhattisgarh, i.e Bijapur, Dantewada, Narayanpur and Sukma. 3 Mumbai man becomes first to be on 'No-fly list' A senior official of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that a Mumbaibased jeweller, Birju Kishore Salla, who created a hijack scare onboard a Jet Airways flight last year, has become the first person to be put on the 'National No Fly List.' Salla, 37, was arrested in October last year by the crime branch following the emergency landing made by the Mumbai- Delhi Jet Airways plane at the Ahmedabad airport after the pilot was alerted about a note about hijackers and a bomb which was found in the plane's washroom by a cabin crew. 5 Venezuela's President Maduro wins re-election Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro was reelected for a second six-year term in presidential elections on Sunday, according to the National Electoral Council (CNE). Some 14,638 voting centers have been set up nationwide for Venezuela's more than 20.5 million eligible voters, who are also voting for state legislators.
