Dear Sir/Madam, Badminton Association of India is pleased to allot 42nd Indian Masters (Veteran) National Badminton Championships to Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association. The following are the details. NAME OF THE TOURNAMENT : 42ND INDIAN MASTERS (VETERAN) NATIONAL BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIPS DATES OF THE TOURNAMENT : 19th to 25th February The Tournament will be organised on the following dates VENUE QUALIFYING ROUNDS ( 35+,40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+) (Both Men & Women) MAIN DRAW ( 35+,40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+) LAQSHYA BADMINTON ACADEMY, GREEN CITY ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, GREEN CITY TOWNSHIP, NEAR PHAKIR TAKHIYA, VADLAPUDI POST VISAKHAPATNAM , AP Land Mark Via NAD Junction Airport / BHPV/ Autonagar, Vadlapudi Railway gate 19th & 20th February All events Both Men & Women 21st to 25th February (All players of All events should report before 9.00 a.m on 21st February 2018.) All Finals 25th February Last date of receipt of Players 24th January Registration forms (BAI Format Birth Certificates) Last Date of Entries 31st January 2018.

EVENTS ORGANISED: The Tournament will be organised in following age groups. Players having the specified eligibility date of birth with BAI ID numbers are eligible. Those not having BAI ID may apply immediately through respective State Associations. ( Before 10 th January 2018).. ` Group Age under years as on the reference date Men, Women +35, +40, +45,+50, +55, +60, +65, +70 MODE OF COMPETITION: Singles/ Doubles / Mixed Doubles Born on or before 1982/1977//1972,/1967/1962,/ 1957/1952/ 1947 All the matches in the main draw shall be played best of three games of 21 points on a rally point system. The qualifying round matches in best of Three (3) games of 15 points each with extension of 21 points. ROUTE :The venue is 8 kms away from the airport, 20 kms away from Visakhapatnam railway station and 2 kms away from duvvada station. FACILITIES : Players has to make their own Accommodation. Sales canteen facilities Shall be provided at the Venue by the Host Association on payment. Transport shall be provided from Hotels to Venue and back. HOTEL DETAILS :Participants shall make their own reservations. PRIZES : Individual prizes will be awarded to all winners / Runner up players in all events with merit certificates. Once the entries are duly verified, the complete list in a computer file shall be placed (M & Q) in BAI Website. Minimum 6 entries are required to conduct the event.

3 ENTRY FEES / ELIGIBILITY: Each member Association of BAI is eligible to send two singles, one double and one Mixed Double in each event in 35+,40+,45+,50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+. A player is eligible to participate in not more than 3 events (1Singles, 1 Double & 1 Mixed Double) There is no entry fee for Main draw. The entry fees for qualifying participants shall be as follows payable to APBA. Singles events of all categories Doubles events of all categories Rs. 500/- per player Rs. 1000/- per pair TECHNICAL OFFICIALS : The Court Officials shall be nominated by BAI. Referee : Dy.Referee : Match Control : Umpires : 10 from other States and 12 from local (A.P). In addition to the above, the Host Organisers shall nominate one Local Deputy Referee, one Umpires Control, one Announcer and One Media relation officer to assist the Referee in conduct of the matches. DRAW: The qualifying draw shall be made at BAI Office. Using the Tournament Planner software. Main Draw will be held at the venue on 20th February Seeding as per the previous year Indian Masters Tournament held at Kerala. EQUIPMENT SPONSOR: As per contract of BAI with Yonex, the organisers shall be provided Yonex Shuttles. Additional shuttles shall be purchased by the organisers. Yonex will be entitled to 10nos. of A Sign Boards per court and 20% of banners placement in the main venue and one sale stall. ( Tatkal and Rajadhani not permitted). Rs.1500/- per day plus one day extra Rs:1500/- including taxi fare Honorary Deputy Referee, Match Control and International Umpires. 2 nd AC Class both ways rail fare. ( Tatkal and Rajadhani not permitted). Rs. 1200/- per day plus one day extra. Grade I Umpires: Grade II State Umpires Local Umpires: Conveyance allowance in lieu of local travelling, lodging. 3 rd AC Class both ways rail fare. ( Tatkal and Rajadhani not permitted).
