1 Games & Sports Activity In the year , College Annual Sports meet was conducted in 18 Nov The Students of Arts, Sciences, Agriculture and Commerce faculty participated with a lot of enthusiasm. The students participated in High Jump, Long Jump, Discus throw, Shot-put, Javelin throw, 100 mt, 200mt and other different races were also conducted. In the year ,different teams Of the college participated in HNBGU Inter Collegiate tournaments.the college teams participated in HNBGU Inter Collegiate Football (M), Kabadi (M) Badminton(M&W),Table Tennis(M&W),Cricket(M), Lawn Tennis (M), Boxing (W) Handball (M) and volley ball (M) Tournament. The athletic team of the college participated in Inter collegiate Athletic meet which was held at Maharana Partap Stadium, Raipur, Dehradun. The collegeathleticteam comprised 17 boys and 09girls. The Basketball team of the college performed well in HNBGU Inter college basketball Tournament and was Champion of the tournament held at Birla Srinager,Uttarakhand. The Handball team of the college performed very well in HNBGU inter collegiate Handball (M )tournament held at Paithani college, Paithani, Uttarakhand. The Team emerged as runner-up in this tournament. The Cricket (M) team of the college participated in HNBGU Inter Collegiate Cricket(M) tournament and emerged as runner-up in the tournament. Women players actively participated indifferent sport activities in the college and first time the Women Boxing team participated in Boxing tournament held at D.A.V. PG College and won Gold medal in 70 kg events. 2 Games & Sports Activity The college organized Inter Collegiate Football (M) tournament of HNBGU on college football ground from 5 th Dec to 7 th Dec teams of different college of Garhwal University participated in this tournaments. The college team performed very well and emerged as runner-up in this tournament. The college also organized inter collegiate Football (W) tournament of HNBGU on college ground. Different teams of different colleges of Garhwal University participated in tournament held on Jan The college football (W) team for the first time participated in the HNBGU Inter collegiate tournament and entered into the semifinals. The college basketball (M&W) team participated in the HNBGU inter collegiate tournament and entered into the semifinals. Mr. Prateek Badola participated in inter collegiate lawn-tennis tournament held at DAV PG College, Dehradun and won the Gold medal in the tournaments. Kalpana Negi participated in Boxing inter collegiate tournament of HNBGU university hel at Maharana Pratap Stadium, Dehradun and won Gold medal in 70 kg event. The college team of chess (M) for the first time participated in HNBGU chess tournaments and students, Rishab Semwal won Gold medal in the tournament. College athletic team participated in intercollegiate Athletic tournament organized at Maharana Partap stadium, Dehradun and student, Sangeeta of BA-III won III place in 100 mts Hurdle. The college girls team (Relay ) won III place in 4x100 events. College student Akanksha Rauthan won Gold medal in HNBGU tournament of Table tennis at OIMT Rishikesh, Dehradun. The college cricket team performed well in HNBGU inter collegiate tournament held at Maharana Pratap Stadium, Raipur, Dehradun organized by BFIT, Dehradun. The team entered into the semifinal in the tournament. The following student of the college was selected in different teams of the University to participated in Inter University level competitions. 4 Games & Sports Report Our college hosted Intercollegiate Cricket Tournament of HNB Garhwal University on college campus and Bomby Bahgh Public School Sports Ground from 23 September to 27 September, Twenty-Three (23) teams of different colleges of Garhwal University participated in this tournament. The college also organized Intercollegiate Football Tournament of HNB Garhwal University on college football ground from 15 th October to 17 the October Teams of different colleges of Garhwal University participated in this tournament. Our college football team won the intercollegiate Football Tournament of HNB Garhwal University. SGRR(PG) College. College Handball Team was Runner-up in Intercollegiate Handball Tournament of HNB Garwhwal University. ( Raath College, Painthani). College Badminton Team (W) was runner-up in intercollegiate Badminton Tournament of HNB Garhwal University (BCC, Srinagar). College Volleyball team played quarterfinal of inter-collegiate Volleyball Tournament of HNB Garhwal University. ( Omkaranand Institute of Management & Technology, Rishikesh). College athletic team participated in intercollegiate Athletic Tournament organized at DBS (PG) College, Dehradun. Performance of the players in this meets were as follows: 1. 6 Games & Sports Report In the year , different teams of the college participated in HNBGU Inter Collegiate tournaments. The college team participated in HNBGU inter collegiate Kabaddi (M), Football (M), Badminton (M&W), Table Tennis (M&W), Cricket (M), Basketball (M&W), Handball (M&W) and volleyball (M) tournaments. The athletic team of the college participated in intercollegiate Athletic Meet which was held at DAV (PG) College, Dehradun. The college athletic team comprised 12 boys and 07 girls. The Volleyball team of the college performed well in HNBGU intercollegiate Volleyball Tournaments held at SRT Campus, Bsdshahithaul. The team emerged as runner-up in this tournaments. The Basketball (Women) team of the college performed well in HNBGU intercollegiate Basketball (Women) Tournament and entered into the Semifinals. Women Players actively participated in different sorts activities in the college and first time the women team in Basketball and Handball were selected. 08 players of the college were selected in different teams of the university to participate in National and inter-university level competitions.
