1 Major Team Sports Basketball Spring 2019 Intramural Calendar Season Begins: Sunday, January 27 th Divisions: Men s Competitive, Men s Recreational, Women s, Co-Rec, and & Res Hall Cost: $55 per team if paid by Wednesday, January 16 6pm. $65.00 per team if paid between January 17 th and January 23 rd. FYI: All participants must complete the online registration quiz before being activated to play. Basketball is 5-on-5 Outdoor Soccer Registration: Tuesday, February 19 th Tuesday, March 5 6pm Season Begins: Monday, March 18 th Divisions: Men s Competitive, Men s Recreational, Women s, Co-Rec, and & Res Hall Cost: $40 per team if paid by Tuesday, February 19 6pm. $50.00 per team if paid between February 20 th and March 5 th. Outdoor Soccer is 8-on-8 2-Person IM Golf Tour: Spring Installment First tournament: Friday, March 22 nd at Fossil Creek (2:30pm shotgun start) Registration: Tuesday February 26 th Tuesday March 19 6pm Cost: $100 per team ($50 per person) if paid by Tuesday, March 5 6pm per team ($60.00 per person) if paid between March 6 th and March 19 th. Included: Green, cart, GPS, and range balls Second tournament: Friday, April 26 th at Whitestone (2:30pm shotgun start) Registration: Tuesday April 9 th - Tuesday April 23 6pm Cost: $100 per team ($50 per person) if paid by Tuesday, April 16 6pm per team ($60.00 per person) if paid between April 17 th and April 23 rd. Included: Green, cart, GPS, and range balls FYI: The IM Golf Tour will cover both the fall and spring semesters, and while teams are allowed to participate as little or as much as they would like, at the end of the spring semester, an overall tour winner will be crowned. They will receive a special green tour champion shirt as well as an engraving on the IM Golf Tour Cup.

2 Mini Leagues and Team Tournaments Rowing Competition Date: Friday, January 25 th Play Begins: 4pm Divisions: Men s and Women s Location: TBD (probably the lobby or MP1) FYI: This competition is a joint venture with the TCU Rowing Club. for more information on the club or event, please reach out to Samuel Jenne at s.jenne@tcu.edu. Pre-Season Basketball Tournament Date: Friday, January 25 th Divisions: Men s, Women s & Co-Rec Location: Rec Gym FYI: This tournament will also serve as an education session for the IM Staff. The rosters do not have to be the same as what is submitted for the basketball league. Basketball is 5-on-5. Futsal Tournament Date: Friday, February 8 th Registration: Tuesday, January 22 nd Tuesday, February 5 6pm Divisions: Men s, Women s, & Co Rec Location: SEC Courts 1 and 2 FYI: Futsal is 5-on-5 and on an abbreviated court

3 Racquetball Doubles Tournament Date: Saturday, February 9 th Registration: Tuesday, January 22 nd Tuesday, February 5 6pm Play Begins: 12pm Divisions: Men s & Women s Location: Rec Center racquetball courts Cost: $10 per team ($5 per player) 2-Person IM Climbing Bonanza Date: Saturday, February 16 th Registration: Tuesday, January 22 nd Tuesday, February 12 6pm Pre-event education session: Saturday, February 16 11:30am Competition Begins: 12pm Location: TCU Climbing Wall Cost: $15 per team. Pre-education session required for anyone not currently belay certified according to the TCU climbing wall records Pass-Only Flag Football Tournament Date: Saturday, March 2 nd Registration: Tuesday, February 12 th Tuesday, February 26 6pm Play Begins: 12pm Location: TCU Intramural Fields FYI: Pass-Only is 7-on-7 ( Pass-only means QB scrambles with a 4-second release clock for each play)

Sand Volleyball Tournament Date: Friday, April 5 th Registration: Monday, March 18 th Tuesday, April 2 6pm Location: TCU Sand Volleyball Courts FYI: Sand Volleyball is 4-on-4 (8 members per team max) Spike Ball Tournament Date: Saturday, April 27th Registration: Tuesday, April 9th Tuesday, April 6pm Play Begins: 1pm Divisions: Men s, Women s, & Open Location: TCU Sand Volleyball Courts FYI: Spike Ball is 2-on-2 (4 members per team max)

5 Individual Sports Madden Tournament Date: Saturday, January 26 th Play begins: 12pm Console: XBOX One Location: Rec Center Game Room (downstairs) FYI: The randomly seeded competition bracket will be single elimination, winner moves on. Participants are allowed to select any of the 32 current franchise teams. Participants are allowed to select any playbook available on the game. The game will be played on the allmadden level, so prepare yourself accordingly. The game will be played in 4 minute quarters. Substitutions can only be made offense for offense, and defense for defense. There will be no physical or rating adjustments allowed to any players. March Madness Bracket Challenge Date: Winner will be announced following the championship game Registration: Monday, March 18 th Thursday, March 21 tip off Divisions: Open Cost: FREE *2 bracket submission maximum* FYI: Once the bracket draw is complete, an will go out via IM Leagues to announce the group name, window of registration, and any further rules. Badminton Tournament Date: Friday, March 29 th Registration: Tuesday, March 5 th Tuesday, March 26 6pm Location: SEC
