2 AVPFirst is proud to be the signature youth volleyball initiative of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour AVPFirst is a nonprofit oganization founded to create a national pipeline for youth volleyball development by establishing the highest quality beach volleyball standards and investing the necessary resources to ensure improved participant performance. It is specifically designed to create access for all children and their families, regardless of the neighborhood in which they reside or their economic status, by offering a series of community clinics, training camps, coaching education workshops and junior beach tournaments. Each of these programs are specifically designed to develop youth into positive, empowered citizens and top beach volleyball athletes. To date, more than 1,000 youth, ages 9 to 18, have participated in these volleyball programs led by trained coaches and a large volunteer corps of caring adults. The AVPFirst Wall of Champions recognizes the significant professional and personal contributions of individuals that have paved the way for the advancement and growth of beach volleyball. The event is a gathering of business leaders, dedicated corporate sponsors, fans and athletes from across the United States. Proceeds from the event enable AVPFirst to continue its successful history of positively impacting youth and growing the great sport of beach volleyball. This year we have the honor of inducting volleyball legend, NCAA Champion, FIVB Champion, United States Olympian and 92 time AVP Champion, Sinjin Smith.
