2 Pool Play Format * Four team pools 2 out of 3 to 25, rally scoring (deciding game to 15 points switch at 8) *No cap, win by 2 points. *Warm ups: for first two rounds of day (No shared hitting) Serving team has the court first 3 3 remainder of the tournament *For all two way ties: The #1 team will be the team that won the pool play match between the two tied teams. *All other ties: 1. MATCH % (Matches won divided by matches played); 2. GAME % (Games won divided by games played); 3. TOTAL POINT DIFFERENTIAL (Total # of points won subtracted from total # of points lost); 4. COIN FLIP. *All 14 s teams will advance to playoffs (Gold and Silver) 12 s teams will advance to a one match playoff *Up officials will be provided for all pool play matches and playoff matches. Work Team Assignments Teams participating in a tournament must be prepared to provide one Second Referee, one Scorer, one Flip Scorer, one Libero Tracker and two Line Judges. Note: Only the Scorer, Assistant Scorer and Flip Scorer are allowed at the Scorer s Table. Food, Ipods, cell phones, electric devices, etc., are NOT ALLOWED at the Scorer s Table or with Line Judges. Note: An adult member of the roster is also allowed at the table. Playoff Format *Non winning teams from playoffs referee next round of play. *All matches will be best of 3 games rally to 25 (15 points for deciding game switch at 8). *Playoffs: 14s the top 2 teams from each pool advance to the Gold Division and bottom 2 teams from each pool advance to the Silver Division. In 12 s the top two teams play one playoff match and the bottom two teams play one playoff match. *Awards: Given to the first place teams in the Gold division. Time Schedule Gym opens: 7:30 a.m. Play begins: 8:30 a.m.

3 Court Locations: Upstairs Bo Ryan Gymnasium Coaches Meeting: 8:00 a.m. Court 2 Concession Stand: NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED! Opens at 8:30 a.m. (Coffee, water, soda, Gatorade, fruit, granola bars, bagels, donuts, Pizza Hut Pizza, Jimmy Johns Subs, Walking Tacos, A &W hot dogs and Cheeseburgers, popcorn, snacks and candy). WE BETTER PREPARED FOR FOOD THIS YEAR! All lunch items walking tacos, jimmy johns, A&W, and pizza hut will be ready to go at 11:00 a.m. UWP volleyball clothing: T shirts, spandex, hats and sweatshirts. Rosters: To be eligible to play each team must turn in a signed Webpoint roster and be prepared to show medical release forms. Badger Region Teams: Team Roster. This is the ONLY roster format that will be accepted for Badger Region Teams. The Team Fee Paid section must be marked Yes for the team to participate and all members must be listed as Current. Team Roster Out of Region Teams Teams that come from other regions must produce a Webpoint Roster or roster that, at minimum, has the following information: Name of Team; Team Code; Team Rep w/contact information; Age Group; Names of staff with USAV Member Numbers; Names of players with jersey number, date of birth, and USAV#. Athletic Trainer: There will be no athletic trainer on site. We will have ice and a first aid kit if needed. Entry Fee Doors will open for all players and spectators at 7:30 a.m. There will be a $5.00 entry fee for all spectators. Children under 5 receive free admission. FACILITY RULES No Gum is Allowed in the Playing Facilities Upstairs gym (Courts 1, 2, 3 ) no chairs are allowed to be brought into the gym. There are bleachers

4 available for seating. No food allowed by scorer s table Please have teams pick up after themselves. There are no crock pots or hot plates allowed in the facility. Be sure to be on court and ready for all officiating duties. Do not leave without checking with the tournament director to make sure you are finished officiating.
