The upload of the BV-01 CEV Player s Commitment accompanied by a health certificate duly signed by the NF and the concerned athlete(s) is the pre-condition set to be tentatively admitted to any of the Beach Volleyball competitions officially recognized by the CEV. 3 Once the aforementioned condition is fulfilled by all parties concerned, the National Federation (exclusively) is required to comply with the following procedures in order to tentatively register its spots and players in the Championship. Player Registration (Deadline -14 days): - Each National Federation is provided with an individual and secured user access (user name and password) through its own address. - After Log in, the National Federation may select any team as per CEV Beach Volleyball Handbook and Official Regulations and register it in the CEV U20 European Championship by following this procedure: Select first player; Select his/her teammate; Select the CEV U20 European Championship from the calendar; Confirm the entry of the team. - The team is automatically registered in the selected tournament database and is instantly included in the tentative list posted on the CEV website for each event. While this procedure allows the National Federations to directly control that their teams are correctly entered, it also gives them the opportunity to immediately contact the webmaster (vis@fivb.org and beach@cev.lu) in case a technical problem occurs. - After the player registration the number of reserve teams has to be reduced by clicking the button reserve teams and entering 0. - Each National Federation may directly enter new CEV/FIVB athletes as the computer instantly generates CEV/FIVB # for the new player as well as a user name and password. - Athletes with pending sanctions are not allowed to enter in CEV sanctioned events until the related fine is duly paid to the CEV. - The entry deadline for each event is stated on the CEV website for each event. - Each National Federation and athlete will be responsible for checking the entry through internet by consulting the tentative Entry List for each event. - The Tentative Player List is an ongoing information available on the CEV website and up to - 14 days can be amended by each participating National Federations. Additionally each athlete willing to participate must: complete and sign and have his/her respective National Federation sign and seal Player s Commitment and Health Certificate for Beach Volleyball players BV-01 form The form has to be submitted only once per player per season and must be uploaded 14 days prior to the start of the respective event the player participates in. complete the FIVB anti-doping Education and Certification programme Real Winner, that can be found under the following link SUBSTITUTION OF A PLAYER No player can be substituted after the player registration deadline (-14 days before the start of the competition) and the Confirmed List has been published unless in case of injury or force majeure upon approval of CEV. Respective proof/documentation must be presented to the CEV before the start of the Preliminary Inquiry of the respective event. The CEV Beach Volleyball Handbook contains the details of substitution and withdrawal. Page 3 of 5

4 2.2 WITHDRAWAL & LATE ARRIVAL All withdrawals after the spot registration and before the player registration deadline have to be done through the BV-03 form and are charged an administration fee (see regulations chapter 8: Fines, Sanctions & Protests ). The only exceptions are withdrawals from the Reserve List. In case the withdrawal occurs after the player registration deadline, the athletes/national Federations must respect the withdrawal procedure mentioned in the CEV Beach Volleyball Handbook. Athletes who do not arrive or arrive late for the Preliminary Inquiry/Technical Meeting of the Qualification and/or the Main Draw, and have not received the authorization of the Technical Supervisor are excluded from the event by the Technical Supervisor for no show and fined (see CEV Beach Volleyball Handbook, article 1.5). 3. FINANCIAL REGULATIONS For the participation of each team in the Championships the respective National Federation shall pay an entry fee of 100,- EUR to the bank account of the Organizer. For five days in total the respective National Federation shall pay a contribution of 50,- EUR per delegation member per day to the Organizer even if the duration of the stay of its delegation members is shorter (5 x 50,- EUR = 250,- EUR). Delegations members are: all players and optionally up to one team manager/coach per team. The respective National Federation shall pay the registration and contribution fee seven (7) days before the start of the event to the bank account of the Organizer. If the Organizer will not receive the fees in time the Technical Supervisor has the right to exclude the concerning teams from the event. Each participating National Federation has to present a copy of the confirmed money transfer to the Technical Supervisor at the Preliminary Inquiry. When a National Federation/team withdraws from the Championships later than fourteen (14) days before the start the entry fee is due except for health reasons of a player. Page 4 of 5

Nevertheless more details can be found in the Official Regulations and the CEV Beach Volleyball Handbook, which are posted on the CEV website.
